What does Cyan mean in Among Us?
Cyan is the name of the ‘light blue’ color that is assigned to players in Among Us. This shade of blue is bright and fluorescent. It is a shade most prevalent in printing photos and is in even part of the alternative to RGB color space which is CMYK.
Cyan is one of the few colors in Among Us that helps your character pop out from the rest of the players. The other colors available in this category include white, pink, and lime.
All these colors are highly favored by players in Among Us which is why Cyan has ended up becoming sort of a meme for players. This fascination with Cyan color has resulted in some hilarious stereotypes which usually pertain to Cyan players being very loyal.
Additionally, Cyan is among the top highly suspected colors in Among Us despite having the lowest turnout rate when it comes to being the imposter. This is another reason, why Cyan has ended up with his own shot comics and memes on the internet.

Why you may select Cyan character
Honestly, if you like the color then why not? Cyans are known to be loyal and helpful. If you want such a character then you should definitely go for it. Unlike pink and lime, Cyan is a bit more subsided in terms of visual presence which allows you to come up with unique looks for your character without catching the eye of everyone.
It is also quite is easy to spot when meetings are called or when deaths are reported. This will make it easier for you to prove your innocence as players tend to remember bright colors more when compared to the likes of black, brown, dark green, purple, and more.

Does it affect the game? Is Cyan the imposter usually?
No, the color of your character does not affect the game whatsoever. Each imposter for a game is chosen randomly and players including the host have no control over this selection. Cyans however are usually the ones baited by imposters in Among Us, so you should be careful about it if possible. But the color has no real effect within the game in Among Us.

How to get Cyan character
Selecting or getting the cyan color in-game is all about availability. If you are the last one to enter a lobby then there is a very low chance for you to get the color that you like. Among Us has 12 colors in total and the maximum number of players allowed in any game is 10. This means if you enter the lobby in the end then you will have only 2 to 3 colors to choose from.
If you wish to get Cyan then I suggest you enter a lobby with only 4 to 5 players. Additionally, most Among Us players are quite accomodating and I have been able to exchange my character color with other players numerous times. If somebody has already taken Cyan for a particular game then you should try to exchange your color with them.
