Mi Pie update is now available for these devices

Xiaomi was among the few non-Google smartphone vendors that had a device in the early Android P beta program – the Mi MIX 2S. This, of course, meant that the device would make the switch to Android 9 Pie soon after Google made it available and while this wasn’t the case, the Mi MIX 2S already got an update to Pie.

But what about other Xiaomi devices, especially considering that the company has a huge list of them selling in multiple markets across the globe?

Well, in this post, we give you a list of Xiaomi devices that have already received the update to Android 9 Pie, stable or beta, as well as those that are next in line. Of course, we won’t dwell much into those that aren’t eligible for Pie, but you can always inquire about your device in the comments section after the post.

It’s worth noting that the above info is for the global variants of these phones. Usually, the China ROM gets updates ahead of its global counterpart, so we won’t be surprised if some of the devices in the latter category already got the nod.

If anything, we should see a good number of these devices join the MIUI 10 beta program based on Android 9 Pie in Q1 2019, although it will take some time before all eligible Xiaomi devices receive the update to Pie.
