To get Sound Breathing, complete Kazu’s quest, deliver materials and money to the Iceveil Valley trainer, train at Butterfly Mansion, and defeat Sound Trainee.
You can learn Sound Breathing as part of your Slayer progression in Slayers 2. Head for the cliffs high above Iceveil Valley’s snowy ground to find the trainer, and give him the Demon Horns / Beast Cores / Wen specified by the game dialog.
Complete Kazu’s spy quest
Your targets are civilians with asterisks in their names. That mark distinguishes the spies from ordinary civilians, so identify your targets before attacking.
Gather Demon Horns and Beast Core
The materials you need are labeled Demon Horns and Beast Core in your inventory. You also need Wen; “Yen” is another name used for the same currency.
For Beast Core, look for Beast Born Demons in the village beyond the area associated with Giyuu. They resemble ordinary civilians, with a slightly different skin tone.
Reserve your materials and Wen until you read the trainer’s requirements. Use the amounts requested in his dialogue to decide how much more to collect before spending rare resources elsewhere.
Iceveil Valley is the snowy, icy region entered through a red torii gate. The cold deals ongoing damage, so bring a lantern and warmth items, and use campfires to warm up along the way.
Have Double Jump available before heading for the cliffs. It helps with the upper ledges, but the approach also includes a tall rock wall.
The narrow mountain path leads past a wooden building before dropping toward the water. Across that water, successive ledges break up the climb; the trainer’s hiding place is behind the summit’s rock formation.
Finish the training and defeat Sound Trainee
The NPC you want is Sound Trainer Tengai, seated in a dark, sheltered corner of the rock. Reaching him starts the training portion of the journey; the conversation alone does not grant Sound Breathing.
At Butterfly Mansion, follow the exercises assigned by your quest. Breathing training can involve timing, strength, aim, or parkour drills; those are general training formats, rather than a fixed checklist of Sound exercises.
