Earn Glimmer through daily activities, quests, progression, exploration and codes, then spend it on Primegy refills or items from shops and outpost vendors.
You can earn Glimmer without spending real money through the core elite training courses and the main chapter quest. Its supply is fairly limited. That gives you a reason to weigh up item purchases against refills of Primegy, Aniimo’s stamina resource.

Claim Glimmer from quests, training and exploration
Open Journey > Log to view location-based quest objectives and their rewards. The small green quest marker helps you spot quests while exploring, and completing them also earns experience.
Within Elite Training, open Core Courses for progression objectives built around exploration, collecting a broad range of Aniimo, earning Collection Badges and completing regional quests and story activities. A heading such as Windwild Finale · Falling Star of Tideblossom Coast identifies a particular course objective. Most Core progression rewards are earned once, with courses extending through a substantial part of the campaign.
The elective paths serve a different purpose. Victory, Discovery, Twining and Splendor award specialized rewards instead of Glimmer: Victory includes Flux Crystals, while Discovery supplies catching and training materials. You can go straight to the Core Courses objectives when currency is your goal.

Alpha and Omega encounters also have first-defeat milestones. Keep those milestones separate from the equipment and material claims you make during boss farming.
For recurring rewards, open Institute Guide > Daily Activity and complete the task cards. Activities include logging in, spending Primegy and catching Aniimo; claim the available Activity Glimmer Gift Packs as you reach their milestones. Daily activities also award 3,000 experience.
Seasonal progress has its own rewards. Routine daily tasks can provide 50 Season Stamps; that quantity is separate from Daily Activity points. Completing Season Achievements earns stamps and advances a track containing Glimmer reward nodes, while account-level rewards provide another source during early progression.
Turn branch energy and Aniilog research into Glimmer
Regional branches and Aniilog research both reward exploration, but they track different things. Branches use Lumen Amber infusion, while research advances through species collection and Research Goals.

Restore Primegy and budget for reward claims
Primegy powers the Omni-glove’s energy system and is consumed when you claim rewards from configured activities. Moving around the world does not spend it.
Defeating overworld Alpha and Omega bosses gives you access to Primegy-based reward claims for equipment and evolution materials. Alpha farming also supplies held items and experience. Holo-Battle Simulator rewards use Primegy when claimed, too.

Crafting also draws on this resource: 49 recipes use Primegy as an ingredient. One ingredient combination requires Semi-finished Helion Dewdrop Crystal ×1 and Primegy ×20, so activity claims are not its only use.
Compare Glimmer purchases and alternate item routes
Open the main menu > Shop > Item to browse Glimmer purchases. Outpost vendors also accept the currency for goods. For Glimmer’s own description, select it under Aniimo Items through the main menu’s Inventory screen.

There’s a Credits-based alternative for Psyche Fruit. When the Mysterious Vendor carries it, the offer costs 140,000 Credits and allows three purchases per day. It belongs to a 34-offer rotation, with restocking at 04:00.
For the Sparkling Cube route, Tesella Pod in Astra exchanges 1,000 Sparkling Crystals for one Sparkling Cube. The shop displays a weekly Sparkling Crystal allowance of 100/100.
A vendor also exchanges Glimmer for Fashion Vouchers, giving you a way to buy shop cosmetics with currency earned through play.
Unequip valuable items through Inventory when you aren’t using them. Leaving them equipped can lead to accidental throws during field exploration.
Buy friendship gifts at Astra’s Mementos shop
The Mementos Gift Shop in Astra sells gifts you can send to friends to raise friendship affinity. Your choice changes both the Glimmer cost and the affinity gained.

Gifting carries a five-gifts-per-week limit, so buying gifts and sending them are separate parts of your friendship progress.
Understand paid Glimmer and subscription rewards
You can buy Lumin Crystals, a premium currency, through the Shop and convert them into Glimmers. They can also pay for paid outfits directly. Your first Lumin Crystal purchase comes with bonus Glimmers.
Some paid packs include Glimmer. You can review Weekly Value Supplies and Premium Custom Pack. If you’re looking at customizable or top-up packs, Glimmer may be a selectable reward; a season purchase is another paid way to get it.
If you’re pursuing a Sparkling Cube, the paid pack lets you swap its final selection from 15 Glimmer to 10 sparkling shards. That’s a choice within the pack. It doesn’t tell you the size of the Item Shop’s Sparkling Crystal bundle.
The Companion Handbook primarily gives you rewards other than Glimmer, but the advanced Companion Handbook awards Glimmer at rank one. That’s where its Glimmer reward comes in.
You can also claim Cross-platform reward campaigns and a monthly Game Pass pack containing 300 Glimmer if your account is eligible. Signing in across multiple platforms and claiming subscription bonuses can bring in substantial Glimmer for free-to-play players.
