Slayers 2 is aiming for a mid-September release window with fresh progression, no Project Slayers data transfer, new Tanto and Claws movesets, upgradeable Series Items, and a deeper clan system built around buffs, perks, passives, and modes.
Slayers 2 launches as a ground-up Demon Slayer game on Roblox with fresh progression, new Tanto and Claws weapon kits, Series Items, and rebuilt clan systems. It is not a patch or conventional sequel to Project Slayers, so your old progression stays behind. Here is every announced launch and gameplay detail.
Release prep essentials before launch
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| When does it release? | Targeting a mid-September window, not a firm date |
| Do data, items, and clans transfer? | No — everything is built from scratch |
| Console and mobile support? | Both aimed for at release; details still to come |
| Is there upgradeable gear? | Yes, returning as Series Items |
| Is breathing easy to reset? | Yes — collect ores and buy the race reset, as before |
| How do clans work now? | Still spin-based, but each clan is a full structured kit |
Slayers 2 is targeting a mid-September release window, hopefully before summer officially ends. Development timing can shift when an asset is delayed, so mid-September is the target rather than a fixed launch day.

Nothing from Project Slayers carries over. Player data, items, and clans do not transfer because Slayers 2 is built entirely from scratch. Console and mobile are both targeted for release, with implementation details coming later, and upgradeable gear returns in a reworked form.
Claws moveset and combat role
| Move | Use |
|---|---|
| Claws M1s | Basic close-range slash combo |
| Tri Claw Reversal | Leap back with three ground-scarring strikes; startup AoE strict-stuns before the slash |
| Predator Claws | Two fast slashes, dash forward to pierce, then dash back to knock the opponent away |
Key Claws are a close-range pressure weapon. The basic M1 chain handles standard combos, while the two named skills provide a stun opener and a gap-closing burst. Tri Claw Reversal makes you leap backward while unleashing three claw strikes that scar the ground. Anyone caught in the startup AoE gets strict-stunned before the slash lands, locking the opponent down while you create space. Predator Claws delivers two rapid slashes, a forward dash that pierces the opponent, and a backward dash that knocks them away.
Tanto moveset and mobility
| Move | Use |
|---|---|
| Tanto M1s | Quick basic slash combo |
| Phantom Barrage | Toss and catch the tanto, then a rapid barrage of slashes |
| Spiral Fang | High-speed forward spin, freely steerable; reduces the target’s momentum on hit |
| Tantō Descent | Throw a target-homing blade; on a hit, air-dash flurry, then yank it free and kick away |
Tanto trades the Claws’ close-range pressure for mobility. Its M1s are quick slashes, and all three skills move you around the fight. Phantom Barrage tosses the tanto into the air, catches it, and unleashes a blistering barrage of rapid slashes. Spiral Fang spins you like a wheel and launches you forward at extreme speed with free steering mid-motion. It also cuts the target’s momentum on hit, making it effective for chasing and repositioning. Tantō Descent throws the blade toward a highlighted target. When it lands, you unleash a series of rapid air dashes, yank the blade free, and kick the opponent away.

What carries over from Project Slayers
No, your progress does not carry over. Slayers 2 is a completely new game rather than a direct sequel, with a new foundation and new systems, so your data, items, and clans will not transfer. This puts every player through the new grind and progression together instead of letting maxed-out Project Slayers players start with an immediate advantage.
Kamado is the only possible exception. If it transfers in some form, it will be a thank-you for players who supported Project Slayers rather than part of a general carryover system.
Start fresh in Slayers 2. Data, items, and clans will not transfer, so plan to grind from scratch. Resetting breathing remains easy: collect ores and buy the race reset.

Series Items and upgradeable gear
Key Upgradeable gear returns under the name Series Items. New lines include the Nightfall Series and First Light Series, while the older Devourer and Polar series will not return. Upgrading is less painful because crafting materials come from more activities instead of being strictly locked behind drops.
How the new clan kits work
| Clan part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Buffs | Your stats — flat boosts to things like max health |
| Perks | Actual activatable skills you trigger in combat |
| Passives | Always-on effects that can help you or work against you |
| Modes | A stronger state some clans enter after filling a mode bar |
The clan spinning system returns, so you still roll for clans as you did in Project Slayers. Free-to-play players have real ways to land a good pull, and the system is easier to use. The biggest change is what each clan gives you. In Project Slayers, most clans offered flat stat boosts and perhaps one passive trait; after rolling, that was essentially the entire clan, aside from exceptions such as Kamado’s Indomitable Will. In Slayers 2, every clan is a structured kit divided into four parts.
Ubuyashiki shows how much the system has expanded. In Project Slayers, it was a stat clan with bonus stamina and strength, double EXP while training at the Butterfly Mansion, and a small party EXP buff. In Slayers 2, it has a full kit: buffs led by a large max-health boost; perks including Demon Slayer Summon, which calls three allies to fight for you; Soothing Voice, which disables an opponent’s block for a couple of seconds; Indomitable Will; and passives such as enhanced growth, better drop luck, and status resistance. The exact numbers can change before launch, but the structure is set: Project Slayers gave a few clans real skills, and Slayers 2 gives every clan a full kit.
