Farm Hoyuzo Subordinates and Hoyuzo in Bamboo Grove’s waterfall cave, or defeat High Demons in Iceveil Valley, to collect Demon Horns in Slayers 2.
Demon Horns are mainly used to unlock Breathing styles, so your chosen trainer determines your collection target. You’ll find them under that name in your inventory with Uncommon rarity and a description identifying them as materials traded by trainers and alchemists.
How to farm Demon Horns in Project Slayers 2
Begin at Windy Peak to reach the demon cave near the Mother Bear area.
STEP 1/5
Follow the path into Bamboo Grove
From the red torii gate at Windy Peak, follow the dirt path through the torii gates until the Bamboo Grove location label appears.

STEP 2/5
Pass Tom on the path
Continue through the bamboo with Tom on your right, then follow the paper-lantern-lined path toward the waterfall. Tom is your landmark that you’re heading the right way.
STEP 3/5
Enter the waterfall cave

Drop from the cliff into the pool at the foot of the waterfall, then enter the cave concealed behind it.
STEP 4/5
Defeat Hoyuzo Subordinates
Fight the enemies named Hoyuzo Subordinate inside the cave. Each has a 30% chance to drop one Demon Horn; collect a successful drop and look for the Demon Horns x1 reward pop-up.

STEP 5/5
Continue deeper to Hoyuzo
Proceed into the deeper chamber and defeat Hoyuzo, The Sickle Reaper. The boss has 1,445 HP and a 50% chance to drop three Demon Horns.

Farm High Demons in Iceveil Valley
For the snowy alternative, head to Iceveil Valley and find the demon field left of the bear area. High Demons and other demon enemies there can drop Demon Horns. Keep your farming focused on demons; bandits aren’t the enemies to target for this material.
A successful High Demon horn drop gives you two horns, but a kill doesn’t guarantee them. Drop chances vary by enemy, so a fight that yields no horns is compatible with the normal chance-based drops. Keep clearing the demon spawns as they return and collecting the drops.
For a 20-horn collection target, you need ten successful two-horn drops. That’s a drop target, not a prediction that ten kills will finish the farm.
Set your Demon Horn target for Breathing training
Choose the Breathing style you want before settling into the farm. Its material request gives you a stopping point, while accompanying requirements such as Wen or Beast Cores give you another task to finish before the hand-in. The following styles consume Demon Horns, but they aren’t the full catalogue of Breathing styles.

Breathing costs and trainer locations
| Breathing style | Demon Horns | Other requirements | Trainer and location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flame | 10 | Level 25 | Rengu, near Mistfall Village’s red bridge |
| Water | 30 | Level 25; 5,000 Wen | Underwater cave near Bamboo Grove |
| Serpent | 20 | Level 25; 5 Beast Cores | Obari, on the cliff above the starting area at Windy Peak |
| Thunder | 10 | Level 25; Wall Climb | Zentaro, at the mountain summit near Bamboo Grove |
| Sound | 10 | Level 25; Wall Climb | Tengai, on the high cliffs in Iceveil Valley |
| Wind | 50 | Level 25 | Snowy biome reached from the bear area |
If you’re pursuing Serpent, return to spawn and find the rock face. Wall Climb gets you onto Obari’s ledge. He requests the horns first and reveals the Beast Core request only after you deliver them, so the horn hand-in doesn’t finish his material requests.
For the accompanying cores, defeat Beast Born Demons in the vicinity of Mistfall Village and the Harbor area. These enemies provide the Beast Cores requested by the trainer.
To work toward the Wen requirement, collect Ginzo’s Jewelry Box from his home within the Village Hidden in the Mist, then return it to him. Afterward, you can sell loot to Ginzo at Mistfall Harbor.
