Winter is here, and Fornite has yet another surprise in store for its unsuspecting fans. After its Avengers and Star Wars crossovers, Fortnite is branching out to some of the legendary gaming characters that players would go gaga over.
These are going to be a part of a new tiered series, called the Gaming Legends series, and rightly so for the first playable character that is unveiled as part of the series is definitely a legend. Here is everything you need to know about Fortnite Gaming Legends Series.

Gaming Legends Series – A New Rarity Tier
There have been quite a few crossovers in Fortnite. For Chapter 2 Season 5, we already have the Mandalorian crossover, but Fortnite is not going to end there. Players knew that more characters and skins would be released soon but didn’t know what they would be. But on 3rd December, we got to know a little bit more about that. And these are not just any characters, it seems they’re going to be God-tiered.
All this comes on the back of the defeat of Marvel’s Galactus (another God-like character) at the end of Season 4. But in the wake of the destruction that followed, the Zero Point portal opened up, beginning Chapter 2 Season 5.
This open-ended portal concept has allowed Fortnite to bring in hunters from a variety of different realities, including the Mandalorian which is another popular skin. But now, many more interesting characters are being introduced, so keep your eyes peeled.

Kratos from God of War has arrived
The new rarity Gaming Legends Series has started off with a bang. The ultra-popular PlayStation title God of War is all set to revolutionize the battlefield in Fortnite with Kratos. If players head to the item shop, they’ll find Kratos as part of the Oathbreaker Set.
This is also the first time that PC and Xbox players will be able to play as Kratos, who is the first character to be unveiled in the Gaming Legends Series. Along with it, there are some other cosmetic goods as well that players will be able to equip as part of the Oathbreaker’s set.

Other Cosmetic Skins and Goods
The God of War doesn’t come alone. The Kratos bundle comes with a few additional skins that you can find below, as well as in Item Shop.
Mimir Back Bling ![]()
After the Baby Yoda back bling (called ‘The Child’), we have yet another back bling, one that is more suited to Kratos. We know Mimir as the wisest man alive and it’s only natural that we have him as Kratos’ advisor and ally. The Kratos, as well as the Mimir Back Bling, are going for 1500 V-bucks.

Leviathan Axe and Freezing Burst Emote![]()
Forged by Brok and Sindri, this is clearly a weapon for the savages. As an ax with an in-built emote, it ‘freezes as you harvest’. What are you harvesting, you ask? Why, mortal souls, of course. These are going for another 1000 V-bucks.

Bundle Costs
For those who’ve been counting, these rare Gaming Legend Series skins will set players back by a total of 3,300 V-bucks (Fortnite’s item shop currency). But if one wants to get all the items and skins, one can also get the complete bundle. For the time being, the Kratos bundle has a 33% discount and players can get it for 2,200 V-bucks. Now is the time to get the bundle, if you ask us.
Of course, you can buy the items separately as well but why settle for one or two pieces when you can save up 1,100 and get all the skins and items. Surely, Playstation players would want to get the complete bundle to see the God of War in his full glory, while PC and Xbox players, who may never have had the chance of playing as Kratos before would want to do the same.

It is suggested that the Gaming Legend Series may not just end with the God of War set. Some other iconic gaming character skins may also be featured along with a few other goods as part of this new tier series.
