Today is quite an exciting day for Android lovers. The Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 were launched today, and while everyone might not have been able to get their hands on them due to heavy demand on the Play Store, Google proceeded to roll out the Android 4.2 update to the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 in the US, followed by pushing Android 4.2 to AOSP.
Now, Google has gone ahead and posted the Android 4.2 factory images, with build number JOP04C, for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and the Galaxy Nexus (the Play Store “takju” variant”) on the Android Developers website. These factory images will come in handy for those who play around on their devices with custom ROMs and the like and need to restore their device to 100% stock. Or they can use them to manually update to Android 4.2.
