QUICK ANSWER
To complete #DeliciousDango, drive to the Tokyo City Dango area inside Horizon Stadium — near the Edamame Time Attack circuit — and take a Photo Mode shot with your character standing outside the car in front of the dango display.

The #DeliciousDango photo challenge is the second-week task of the Horizon Mascot Party Autumn Series 4 Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 6. It sounds simple, but the wording sends a lot of players to the wrong place — the “Tokyo City” in the name is not the open-world city, it’s a decorated corner tucked inside Horizon Stadium. Get to the right spot and the whole thing takes under a minute.

What the #DeliciousDango challenge asks for

Detail Answer
Objective Photo your character outside the car in the Tokyo City Dango area
Location Inside Horizon Stadium (Horizon Mascot Party), Shimanoyama, west side of the map
Car required Any car — no vehicle restriction
Character Must be standing outside the vehicle
Rewards Dango Outfit (Legendary) and 2 Season Points

Key Everything you need is in the table below. The one detail worth burning into memory before you set off is the location: the challenge lives inside Horizon Stadium, not in the Tokyo City region on the open map. Any car in your garage will do, and the shot only counts with your driver standing outside the vehicle.

Where the Tokyo City Dango area actually is

Look to the west side of the map, in the Shimanoyama region. The huge circular stadium by the water has been taken over by the Horizon Mascot Party, and the fastest way to line it up is to find the Edamame Time Attack circuit or the Horizon Mascot Party icon on the map — the dango spot sits right by there.

Approach from the South Gate, the signed tunnel that feeds you straight into the stadium grounds. Inside, the developers have decorated the interior with oversized food mascots for each region, so the whole place is a wall of themed cutouts.

Key The exact target is the Tokyo City Dango section: pink Tokyo City signs paired with large cardboard-cutout mascots shaped like three round dango on a stick. That cluster of dango decorations — not the pink billboards on their own — is the backdrop the game is checking for.

Why the challenge is not registering

The most common miss is heading to the open-world Tokyo City region because the challenge name mentions it. There is nothing to photograph there — the dango area only exists inside Horizon Stadium during the Mascot Party, so if the objective refuses to tick, that is almost always the reason.

The second trap is being close but not close enough. Standing at the entrance, or next to the pink Tokyo City billboards alone, tends not to register. You need to be inside the decorated dango section itself, stopped in the open pit-lane spot right beside the mascot cutouts.

The last one catches people at the finish line: leaving the driver in the car. If the Character setting still shows your avatar in the seat, the shot won’t complete no matter how good the framing is — bring them outside the vehicle first.

Rewards for finishing #DeliciousDango

Completing the shot marks the photo challenge done on the Autumn Festival Playlist and hands over the Dango Outfit, a Legendary clothing item, along with 2 Season Points toward your playlist progress. Some completion screens also flash a Wheelspin among the unlocks, but the outfit and the Season Points are what the challenge is built to give.

Those Season Points are the part that carries forward — they stack toward the Autumn playlist’s larger car and cosmetic rewards, so knocking out this quick photo is worth it even if the outfit isn’t your style.
