Black Ops Cold War Knife Camo Challenges: Tips, Tricks and Helpful Hints

There’s a special sort of satisfaction that comes with racking up knife kills in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. Maybe it’s the pleasure of living out a more bare-bones, zombie apocalypse fantasy with some The Walking Dead style head-stabs. Maybe it’s watching zombie-noggins go boom! up close and personal. Or maybe it’s something simpler than that. Maybe it’s a mixture of the wonderful sense of impunity that comes with overpowered, one-hit kills juxtaposed with the ever-present danger that comes with wading chest-deep into a zombie horde.

Whatever the reason, you’re going to be experiencing all of those feelings while chasing after the Black Ops Cold War Zombies knife camo challenges. For those who love the combat knife, these camo challenges will be a joy. For those just doing to get their hands on that Dark Aether mastery camo, it’ll be one hell of a chore. Either way, Nerds Chalk is here to help!

Upgrade Speed-Cola to the Max

We can’t stress this one enough — speed is your number one attribute when knifing zombies by the dozen. The ability to close distance and get out before the mob swallows you is priceless. Upgrade Speed-Cola to the max to get the most out of it.

Become good friends with your Aether Shroud

The Black Ops Cold War knife camos are the least socially-distant achievements to chase and, especially as you move into the higher rounds, you’re going to need a solid disengage to get you out of hairy situations. Not to mention the fact that you’ll be using it to complete the Vintage camo challenge set.

Increase your FOV

It’s also good to head into settings and increase your FOV to keep better track of the horde as it closes in on you from all sides. Shifting it to somewhere around 100 seems the most optimal way to gauge distance effectively while improving your situational awareness.

Keep a Gun for the Dogs

Seriously, don’t even bother trying to knife dogs — they jump, they explode, they do a lot of damage. When you’re dealing with dogs, it’s best to turn them into Old Yeller rather than letting them chunk your health and making the rest of your job harder. Take ’em out and return to your knife-athon.
