OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 6T recently with a new design and increased battery over the OnePlus 6, but they kept camera hardware unchanged.
They did give OnePlus 6T new features in the camera app though, the Nightscape and Studio Lighting. Both of features are now available for OnePlus 6 users too via Open Beta 6 update. Which is why many users of the devices like OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T may be wondering whether and when they will get the update that gets them Nightscape and Studio Lighting features.
Well, as the company revealed during the launch of the OnePlus 6T, they were able to hand these features to the OnePlus 6 because both of these handsets share the same camera hardware. It was just a matter of implementing the features via an update and rolling it out on the OnePlus 6.

So, even though OnePlus did not provide any information regarding Nightscape and Studio Lighting coming to the older models like OnePlus 5, 5T, 3 and 3T via an update, it seems none of these devices are in the pipeline.
So, yes, unless OnePlus confirms otherwise, we think the Nightscape and Studio Lighting features would remain exclusive to OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. Of course, their next device in OnePlus 7 would rock these, and some more.
