Recently, Android 9 Pie beta was released for the second time on the Huawei Mate 10 phone in the Middle East and before that, it was made available in the European region. The phone, along with a host of other Huawei phones, has already received the stable Android Pie update atop EMUI 9.0 in China. Now, it is Vodafone Australia that is testing the Pie update on the phone.
Reports have come in that Vodafone Australia is now actively testing Android Pie on the Huawei Mate 10 phone. Although there is no official word on the release date yet, we can expect it won’t be too long before the telecom major releases the much-awaited update for the carrier-locked Mate 10 phones in Australia.

Recently, Huawei has been working overtime to test EMUI 9.0 atop the Pie update on several of its devices. So, intentions are clear from the Chinese electronics major – they want to roll out their latest EMUI update on top of the latest Android version as soon as possible, in all the regions of the world where their phones sell.
