- Follow the steps given to know exactly how to reach each pod
In LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, the Power Plants mission expects you to destroy all 4 giant plant pods in a compact, story-led sequence. The key is to clear the area, work through the mission objectives in order, and use the right character abilities at each step.
Destroying the giant plant pods
The Power Plants objective centers on four giant plant pods that must be destroyed to push the mission forward.

The level is designed so you can move between objectives without being locked into a strict route, but the simplest approach is to clear one pod area at a time and keep the fight under control. As with many LEGO missions, progress depends on interacting with the environment, breaking the right objects, and using the correct character tools when prompted.
Destroy Pod 1
At the start, jump on the first pod. Pry it open.

Then take out the flower at its center.

This will kill the pod and weaken the giant plant.

Destroy Pod 2
Go through the gate but do not enter. The water is electrocuted.

Use Robin to connect the electrified object in the water…

…to the main center ahead.

Once the water is no more electrified, jump on the platform.

Then destroy the pod as before.

Destroy Pod 3
Get back out through the gate.

Use Batman to pull at and break the mechanism ahead.

Use Robin to connect the two yellow devices with a rope.

Then jump on the rope and walk ahead.

On your left, grapple up.

Go through the vents.

Again, connect the two yellow devices.

Switch to Batman and bring him at the same location as Robin.
And walk on the rope to the other side.

Use Batman to pull and break the black container ahead.

With Robin, connect the yellow device with the one straight ahead.

As before, walk on the rope to the platform ahead.

Pry open the locked door.

Follow the glow of the vine to the left.

Pull the lever ahead.

The power will flow but only to the first device. Use your batarang to mark and hit all three.

This will allow the power to flow through all three devices.

Use the air vent to go up and to the right.

Pull the lever here.

Again mark and hit the three yellow devices with your batarang.

Glide to the upper floor using the air vent.

Destroy the pods as before.

Destroy Pod 4
From the third pod, go right.

You’ll fall in the same area as the main plant.

Climb the ladder up ahead.

Then grapple up.

Use Batman’s X-Ray vision.

And follow the vines in the pipes.

Make sure to wait for the steam vents to close as you progress.

When you hit a wall, punch the wall to get through.

Use Spray Explosive.

Go left. Then break through things.

Then build.

Once the control panel is built, use Robin to move it to the right.

Get Batman to jump across but stop before the water.

Switch to Robin and move the control to the left.

Switch to Batman and get across.

Then destroy the last pod.

Destroying all pods will defeat the giant plant also.

Location setup
The mission takes place in the Power Plants area, which is a sandbox segment. Because it is built like an open mission space, the layout encourages exploration between objectives. That design makes it important to use the surroundings, since the next pod or required trigger may be slightly off the main route.
