Huawei, on Weibo, sent across a message confirming the arrival of the stable EMUI 9.0 update based on Android 9 Pie on select phones. However, the message also delineated that the update would initially be limited to a maximum of five thousand users per model who joined their Beta testing program.
The update is rolling out as software version 9.0.0.108 for all the eligible device (see the list below).
We had previously reported about this upcoming update earlier and now we’re glad to be breaking the news again. The 9 phone models that will receive the EMUI 9.0 update include:
- Huawei Mate 10
- Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Edition
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro
- Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design
- Huawei P20
- Huawei P20 Pro
- Honor 10
- Honor V10
- Honor Play
If you’re one of the Beta Testers, simply click on the Beta Tester App, then tap on Services then choose Upgrade Early Adoption. Remember, slots are currently limited to five thousand users per phone model only so it’s advised to register as early as possible to get the update!
