Among Us has been the underdog game that has taken the world of gaming by storm. More and more people have started playing the game recently due to the pandemic despite the game having been released back in 2018. Among Us is about a space crew trying to find a murdering imposter among themselves. You are either tasked as the crewmate or imposter in every match.
Crewmates have to find the imposters and complete tasks around the spaceship while imposters have to murder everyone and sabotage functions around the spaceship.
The gameplay is quite intriguing because you can fix sabotages by imposters and continue your game. If you have been playing Among Us then your Communications system has probably been sabotaged by the imposter. If you are having trouble fixing your communications, then you have landed at the perfect place. Let’s take a look at how you can fix Comms sabotage in Among Us.

What is Comms Sabotage in Among Us?
Imposters in Among Us are allowed to sabotage various parts of your spaceship which will take away your different abilities. This gives imposters enough time to carry out murders or to evade suspicion. If you wish to get your lost abilities back, you will need to fix the particular sabotage.
Once a part of your ship is sabotaged, the location to fix it will be displayed by flashing yellow arrows. Following these arrows will lead you to the location where you can fix the sabotage. Comms sabotage is one such sabotage that disables the following abilities for all crewmates.
- Ability to see your task list
- Ability to see your task locations
- Ability to monitor security cameras
- Ability to monitor admin console
- Ability to monitor door logs
- Ability to monitor crewmate vitals

How to fix sabotaged Comms in Among Us
Comms can be easily fixed by visiting the communications room on any particular map except Mira HQ. Mira HQ requires a different method of fixing comms which we will take a look at later. First, let’s take a look at how you can fix comms in Skeld and Polus.
First, navigate your character to the communications room and walk over to the central computer.
Click/tap on ‘Use’ in the bottom right of the screen.
You will now see a dial with two different wavelengths that do not match. Use the dial to match the wavelength of the first signal to the second one. The audio should get more and more clear as the two wavelengths are synced. Once synced, the red light at the top of your dial should turn to green and the comms should be fixed after this.
You should now be able to view your task list and task locations on the map. The ability to monitor various elements on the map should also now be restored for all the crewmates.

How to fix comms in Mira HQ
Instead of one crewmate required to fix the comms in all other maps, Mira HQ requires two crewmates to enter pins and different locations to fix the Comms sabotage in Among Us. Let’s take a look at how you can do this.
Once your comms are sabotaged, you will see two flashing arrows on your screen which will show you the location of both the keypads where you need to enter the backup code. Find the nearest location to and make your way to it.
When you are in the concerned room, head over to the flashing yellow equipment and click/tap on ‘Use’ in the bottom right corner of your screen.
You will now be shown a keypad with a backup code alongside it. The backup code will be set on a timer so you will have to enter the code quickly.
Once you have entered the code, click/tap on the ‘Green tick’ button on the keypad.
The comms sabotage should now be fixed for this particular match. If the comms are sabotaged again you will need to follow the same procedure to fix them.
Comms still sabotaged, not fixed problem
Unlike Skeld and Polus, comms sabotage and fixing it works differently in Mira HQ. Instead of one crewmate, you need two at both the keypad locations. Entering the backup code at both the locations fixes the comms.
It works like the reactor meltdown sabotage where two crewmates have to simultaneously scan their hands for the reactor to become stable again. If you are unable to fix the comms despite entering the correct backup code then it is likely that nobody is at the other keypad yet.
You can either wait and try again in this situation or head to the other keypad yourself if you see multiple users trying to fix the comms at your particular location. This is a common problem with the keypad in the Communications room. As this room is quite easily accessible, everyone on the map simply ends up here most of the time when comms need to be fixed in Mira HQ.
We hope this guide helped you easily fix comms in Among Us regardless of the map that you are playing. If you have any more questions or face any issues during the process, feel free to reach out to us using the comments section below.
