How to Claim Rocket League Llama Rama Rewards

Rocket League has recently transitioned to a freeware title with a lot of changes to incorporate new players. Most of these changes are made to the in-game shop so that new players from different platforms can buy their desired items and trade them with each other if needed.

Rocket League also has a LLama Rama event going on that has a set of challenges for all players. Completing these challenges can help you earn in-game rewards and drops which can be used to obtain new decals, flags, and bodies in Rocket League. If you are unable to find the option to claim these rewards then follow the guide below to get you started.

If you still haven’t received your reward then chances are that it has been archived. Use the guide below to recover archived items in Rocket League.

Open Rocket League and select ‘Garage’ on the menu screen.

Now click on ‘Manage Inventory’.

Finally, click on ‘Show Filters’.

Now search the item that you are looking for.

Hover your mouse over the search result and you should see an ‘Archive’ icon in the top right corner. Click on it to select it.

Note: If the Archive button is yellow that means you have archived items of the same kind. If it is greyed out then it means that you have no archived items. In this case, you should try restarting your game and claiming the reward again.

And that’s it. You should be able to find your reward item in the archived section. This usually happens if you have multiple items of the same kind and have not opened them in a while.

If you are in this situation then it is likely that you are facing a network issue. It could also be that the game is having trouble establishing a connection to Rocket League servers which is why you are unable to access your LLama Rama event awards. Let’s take a look at some of the things you can try to fix this issue.

  • Change your network/ WIFI
  • Restart the game
  • Logout of your Rocket League account and log in again (Epic Games and Steam users can log out and log in again back to their respective services.
  • Press up on the keyboard/gamepad as soon as you click on ‘View Challenges’. (This is a known community workaround that seems to help most users stuck in this scenario)
  • Close and Reopen the ‘Challenge menu’ multiple times (This is an official workaround suggested by Psyonix until a patch is released to fix this issue)
  • Open ‘Season Challenges’ first and then go back to LLama Rama event challenges

These changes should help you establish a more reliable connection to Rocket League servers which should allow you to claim your LLama Rama event awards easily.
