How to add Peloton Widget on Lock Screen on your iPhone with iOS 16

Adding a Peloton Widget on your iPhone’s Lock Screen on iOS 16 will help keep track of your week’s activity easily. Here is how to add Peloton to your lock screen on iOS 16.

Peloton has been the number-one Fitness provider for many users worldwide since the 2020 pandemic. They offer interactive equipment that allows you to stream classes directly from the comfort of your home. If you’ve been trying to meet your monthly fitness goal, then Peloton can help you even if you do not have dedicated equipment in your home.

Peloton offers a dedicated app for iPhones with an exclusive lock screen widget, and here’s how you can add it to your lock screen.

How to add the Peloton widget to your iPhone’s lock screen

Peloton offers two dedicated widgets for your lock screen to track your weekly progress. The smaller widget allows you to track your progress in the form of tiny bars, while the rectangular widget allows you to view your progress day by day for your week. Peloton uses a gradually increasing alpha value for the rectangular widget, which makes the circles representing each day go progressively from transparent to white. This helps extensively display your week’s activity on your lock screen without opening the Peloton app. Here’s how you can add the widget to your lock screen.

Unlock your iPhone and touch and hold on your screen. Tap Customize at the bottom to edit your current lock screen.

Tap Add Widgets under your lock screen clock.

Now tap and select Peloton from the app list on your screen.

Tap and select the widget you would like to add to your lock screen. The widget will be automatically added to the lock screen once you tap it.

Tap the X in the top right corner to close the widgets menu.

Tap Done in the top right corner once you have added your Peloton widget.

Here’s how the widget will look once you’ve added it to your lock screen.

And that’s it! You can now track your weekly progress in the Peloton app directly from your lock screen.

Can you customize the Peloton lock screen widget?

Unfortunately, the Peloton lock screen widget does not offer any customizable options to help you selectively choose the data you want to display on your lock screen. For now, you can only track your weekly progress in the Peloton app using either of the lock screen widgets. We hope Peloton improves on this and introduces customizable options for the lock screen widget with future updates. There has, however, been no official announcement for the same till now.

We hope the post above helped you easily add a Peloton widget to your iPhone’s lock screen. If you face any issues or have more questions, feel free to contact us using the comments below.

  1. Anyone else having trouble with the widget not updating? I think mine is showing data from last week. Tried restarting, re-adding widget, etc.
