What is Energy Recharge?

Energy Recharge is an upgradable stat in Genshin Impact that dictates how fast your character will regain energy when you collect elemental orbs and particles. The higher the value of your ‘Energy Recharge’ stat, the more energy your character will regenerate with each orb.

Energy in Genshin Impact is required to execute ultimate skills for each character. Each ultimate skill will cost you either 40 or 80 energy depending on your character. This value can be higher for rare characters.

Generating energy faster than your opponent means that you will be able to perform your ultimate skill more frequently which significantly increases your chances of winning any battle.

How does Energy Recharge work

Energy Recharge is a stat assigned to each character in Genshin Impact with the base value of 100%. This is sort of a multiplayer for your character’s energy regeneration value and the higher the value of your Energy Recharge stat, the more energy will be regenerated for your character with each elemental orb and particle that you end up collecting.

You can upgrade the value of the Energy Recharge stat by adding character artifacts, upgrading existing character artifacts, or using weapons that increase your Energy Recharge stat.

To find the Energy Recharge stat for any character in Genshin Impact, head over to the main menu.

Now select your character.
