Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 receives Nougat update, finally!

We knew from April that Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will get Android Nougat update in the USA. It first arrived on T-Mobile followed by Verizon Galaxy Tab S2.

Now, it is time for Sprint Galaxy Tab S2 users to experience Nougat. Yep! It’s here. The update, which arrives as Build number T817PVPU2CQE7 brings Android Nougat 7.0.

The Android Nougat update for the Galaxy Tab S2 brings the usual Nougat features such as Google’s own split-screen mode, Doze on the Go for improved battery life, Notification Direct Reply and Bundled Notifications.

Besides that, the Android 7.0 Nougat provides new UX and various new features to the Galaxy Tab S2.

It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and since the update weighs around 1GB, make sure you have enough free storage. Further, keep your Tab charged as high as 50 percent while installing the update.

And, if you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually via the device settings. Go to Settings – About – Software updates.
