OnePlus 6T has been around for less than a week, but the device is already receiving a second software update with notable performance improvements to the screen unlock feature.
The first update to the device came with OxygenOS 9.0.4 and brought improvements to the in-display fingerprint scanner, but still, some users have been experiencing some issues with the scanner. The latest update, which installs OxygenOS 9.0.5, comes with even more improvements for the screen unlock feature.

This new update, which weighs 94MB, should take care of the issues with the fingerprint scanner and probably a few others, so be sure to grab it. The update also carries general bug fixes and system improvements, but being an OTA, it will take some time before the download notification arrives on all OnePlus 6T units.
Alternatively, you can grab the download file via the link below and install it manually.
