It’s only a few days since the launch of OnePlus 6T and in fact, the phone is not yet available for purchase in most markets. However, this hasn’t stopped OnePlus from rolling out the first software update that installs OxygenOS 9.0.4.
The new update, which is still based on Android 9 Pie, brings a bunch of improvements and bug fixes alongside the latest Android security patch for the month of November 2018. Yes, you read that right! Even before Google publishes the official bulletin, OnePlus 6T users already have this months security patch.
Besides that, the update also improves the screen unlock feature, adds new navigation gestures, optimizes standby power consumption, improves Nightscape feature, adds Studio Lighting, and performs general bug fixes and performance improvements.
