Huawei P20 Pro users are reporting a new update that installs significant improvements to the phone’s already impressive camera. This is the only phone that comes with a tri-lens camera setup on the back and despite receiving numerous positive reviews, Huawei isn’t stopping there.

In the new update, which carries build number B131, the Huawei P20 Pro camera’s zoom button now appears in the lower part of the screen and the circle has changed to a square. The update also installs this month’s security patch, but that’s not all you get.

As is, the B131 update also optimizes power consumption for prolonged usage, improves system performance and stability to smoothen up operations and optimizes the wallpaper display for an improved user experience.

If you have been experiencing an issue where the voice of the person on the other end of a call occasionally delayed when using the Google Assistant to answer the call, this update has the answers you seek.

It’s worth noting that none of the few who have received the B131 update got it over the air, rather, they did install it using the Huawei Recovery Updater, popularly known as HuRUpdater. If you have no idea how to go about installing the latest update on your Huawei P20 Pro using the HuRUpdater, we have everything covered in this simple how-to guide. Otherwise, hang on and maybe an OTA update will come your way sooner than later.
