On Theodora’s route, deliver 10 Steelfish and 35 Ladon Loach through Bonaventure’s Send Supplies requests to unlock the Cataphract certification exam.
Cataphract is an Advanced Cavalry class built around heavy armor, mounted movement, axes, and spears. Its mastery ability, Pavise, gives the unit a 20% chance to halve damage from physical attacks. In this guide, you will learn how to unlock the Cataphract class and complete Bonaventure’s request.
Gather the fish at Socie Bay and Ladon Lake, then turn in both requests.

Speak to Bonaventure
Talk to Bonaventure outside the palace plaza in camp, open his interaction menu and select Send Supplies.

Find both requests
Inspect and track Send Supplies: Steelfish and Send Supplies: Ladon Loach; both are needed for the unlock.

Locate the fishing sites
Open the world map and look south of Dagxion: Ladon Lake in Melias lists Ladon Loach, while nearby Socie Bay in Danann Sea lists Steelfish.

Travel to Socie Bay
Take a boat south from Dagxion toward Socie Bay; the journey can pass east from Raivo Port.

Search Socie Bay
Open the bay’s area prompt and select Deploy to Search to assign a battalion, such as Special Cavalry or Adept Archers, for Steelfish; you can search the location yourself too.

Search Ladon Lake
Continue to Ladon Lake and set up another Deploy to Search assignment for Ladon Loach.

Collect both supplies
Move between the locations and collect completed searches, or search again, until you have 10 Steelfish and 35 Ladon Loach; pickups appear at the top of the screen, and a supply quest completion notification marks a finished objective.

Return to Bonaventure
Go back to camp and reopen his Send Supplies menu with both delivery amounts gathered.

Select Turn In for Steelfish and Ladon Loach; each request awards 5,500 Gold and 320 Renown.

After both turn-ins, the Class Unlocked notification announces new Cataphract certification exams.

After the fishing trip, the exam is the last catch.
Where to take the Cataphract Certification Exam
Unlocking Cataphract makes the class available through the certification system, but individual characters still need to qualify for and pass the exam.
Go to the Certification Exam menu in Dagxion and select Cataphract.
The exam is an Advanced certification, with an ideal level of 35 and a Renown requirement of 8 reported for Advanced classes.
You also need an Advanced License to take the exam.
Each character who wants to use Cataphract must pass the certification individually. Unlocking the class does not automatically change every character into a Cataphract.
