Get the cursed Azaga’s Bow from the chest at the end of a side tunnel in Valhalla Mine, in Savelon south of Dagsion.
Aim for level 20 before heading in. Valhalla Mine is roughly level 20, which puts you at its Ideal Lv 20 recommendation.
Location of Azaga’s Cursed Bow in Fire Emblem: Fortune Weave
Valhalla Mine sits near the lower end of the world map, this is where you find the Cursed Bow. Along the southwest approach from Dagsion, the landmarks are Agris Stronghold, Salacia Posthouse, and Alecto, in that order, leading into Savelon.
Inside, there are three chests to find. The compass along the top of the screen gives approximate directions, so use it for orientation as you explore the tunnels.
When playing as Cai, hold the left trigger at the Hold for Third Eye prompt to reveal trail markers. Use the green Rest location beside the cave wall during your exploration, too.
Follow the mine’s tunnels to the bow chest
The dungeon preparation menu shows the chapter heading Part 1: Cai’s Path, Chapter 12, Just One Wish. The mine’s ore listing includes Smithing Stone, Wootz Steel, and Blue Snoll; Smithing Stones are useful for repairing equipment.

Travel to Valhalla Mine, then follow the side passage to the chest.

Open the chest
Approach the chest at the far end of the room, between the luminous orange crystals, and open it to obtain Azaga’s Bow. The chest-opening sequence also awards Wootz Steel and Smithing Stones.

Find other bows and build bow proficiency
You can find Hunter’s Bow in Galen Fort Ruins chests during Part I. Dungeon and fort chests also offer bows, so check them as you explore. Loot varies: weapons and materials from ordinary loot and exploration objects—including boxes, crystals, and yellow pickup orbs—are semi-random.
Armorers in towns and cities are another place to check as you progress through the story, stocking weapons of basic and mid-tier quality, with ranged options among them. For a bow that delivers a poisonous, debuffing effect, there’s Venin Bow.
Stronger bows take higher bow ranks. The launch-build Notable Deeds / Boons system offers permanent Bow EXP bonuses to help your units reach those ranks, letting them equip more powerful bows as their proficiency grows.
