Understand what spends your remaining Turns
Turns govern calendar progression in Dagsion. The clock may resemble a running timer, but it stays stopped unless you perform an action with a Turn cost. Time spent considering your plans does not advance the calendar in real time.
The lower-left interface shows the current date, time, and Turns remaining before the chapter-ending battle. Each day has four six-hour blocks: 0:00–5:59, 6:00–11:59, 12:00–17:59, and 18:00–23:59. Each block represents one Turn.
Most free-time activities draw from that allowance. Once the specified date and Turn threshold are reached, the story battle starts automatically. Budget around those costs, not every interaction you make.
Before spending the final Turn, compare your planned errands, training, recruiting, and dungeon travel against the remaining allowance, leaving room for the time-sensitive activities you want to finish.

Check paralogue windows for your current route
Paralogues begin in Part I Chapter 9 for Dietrich and Chapter 10 for Kai, Theodor, and Leda. These paralogues have calendar windows: some last several days, and availability can change with your route. An unfinished paralogue can expire.
The rewards give you another reason to make room. Dietrich’s friendly match with Brigid’s King offers a reward worth 20,000 gold alongside 150 Renown. Some completed paralogues also affect later character availability, though that does not make every paralogue a recruitment quest.
Travel can make a deadline tighter than it first appears. During Dietrich’s Chapter 9, Theodora’s Paralogue takes place on the World Map; leave before 9/15 to avoid missing its deadline. That is departure advice, not an expiration date.
On Theodor’s route in Chapter 12, prioritizing paralogues can mean leaving other quests unfinished. Decide which opportunities to pursue before allocating the available time.
Keep each quest’s own window separate from the chapter in which paralogues first become available. Golden Secret has the following details in its displayed quest instance; those dates and rewards do not establish a schedule for every route.
Golden Secret’s displayed quest window
| Paralogue | Starting objective | End date | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Golden Secret | Speak to Anna in Dagsion. | 05/10. | Orichalcum x1, 20,000 gold, 150 Renown. |
Review calendar events and weekly allowances
The calendar covers birthdays, special events, temple dates, paralogue windows, spectator discounts, arena tournaments, stage plays, and inn menus. It brings several competing uses of your time into one place. The example reminder is placed on 5/20, but your marked dates should follow the activities you intend to attend.
Weekly activities provide Support, Skill Exp, and Blessing progress. Keep them in your plans alongside one-off events instead of dropping them entirely as the calendar fills up.
Date-specific arena matches and theater performances are missed if their dates pass without your attendance. Some colosseum matches award skill experience for spectating, so attendance can contribute to progression as well as fill your schedule. Being away from Dagsion can also cost you access to dated activities and perks.
Pay attention to rotating inn dishes as you plan meals. Menus change on designated days, and some food effects belong to particular rotations. Skipping a menu can delay access to those buffs.
A character’s birthday appears on the calendar after your first gift starts affinity. Until then, that birthday stays absent. Once it appears, the date offers an affinity opportunity worth considering alongside your other plans.
Discounts, birthdays, and holiday dates
| Activity or occasion | Timing and benefit |
|---|---|
| Training | Half price on weekends in Dagsion. |
| Meals | Half price on Sundays in Dagsion. |
| Birthdays during Kai’s Chapter 6 segment | Ultand: 4/28. Tialla: 5/17. |
| Kalla’s Arts Festival | 5/11 in the displayed 1449 calendar. |
| Golden Crow’s Rest Day | Displayed on 1449 5/17 Thu; recurs on the 17th of every month. |
Support Conversations and opportunities to gain Support Points also belong among the content you can miss. A story battle can close calendar opportunities, so the chapter boundary matters alongside individual event dates.
Visit temples while their dates are active
Upper Temple Row and Lower Temple Row are selectable areas on Dagsion’s Base Map, and Jura’s Temple also appears among the destinations. These are the map locations to recognize when reviewing temple opportunities.
Divine Services on the appropriate deity’s day provide benefits, including extra Renown. An available audience can grant additional Renown too; the illustrated audience also grants practical knowledge. These are separate benefits to consider during the visit.
Review quest deadlines and outstanding hand-ins
Many quests have deadlines, including kindness quests on Kai’s route, challenge-related content on Dietrich’s route, and other route-specific activities. The Bulletin Board and quest-giving NPCs help you find opportunities, while Send Supplies offers another way to raise Renown.
Quest rewards can include weapons, materials, gold, and Renown. The hand-in matters as much as the objective when you are trying to collect those rewards before advancing.
In Dietrich’s Chapter 7, quest availability is divided between the month’s first and second halves. During the first half, only A Sword of Deadly Renown is available; this availability statement is distinct from the submission deadline displayed for it.
On Leda’s route in Chapter 9, free time starts after the opening cutscenes and lasts until Seftim 1. Fit your outstanding requests within that chapter’s available period.
Quest objectives, deadlines, and rewards
| Quest | Objective and progress | End date | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Send Supplies: Black Sand Steel | Black Sand Steel 6/20 displayed. | 10/24 Wed. | 5,500 gold and 320 Renown. |
| A Sword of Deadly Renown | Regia; Killing Edge x1 required, with 1/1 displayed. | 7/31 Tue. | Iron Axe x1, 4,000 gold, and 30 Renown. |
| A Screeching, Strange Shadow | Fallen General’s Barrows; the completed quest is handed to a Priest in Hightown in the illustrated instance. | 7/31 Tue. | The illustrated hand-in gives Black-Sand Steel x1, 1,000 gold, and 80 Renown. |
Each is a separate quest instance displaying its own progress and rewards. Renown gained through requests also counts toward unlocks: at Renown Lv 4, units can take specialty class exams, and the effect of training at the training grounds improves.
Choose an Auto-Activities duration after your checks
The final review runs through map pulses, upcoming calendar events, available paralogues, and quest deadlines, in that order. Once nothing relevant remains outstanding, advance your Turns. Complete those checks before confirming your selected Auto-Activities duration, since automatic advancement can carry you past unfinished opportunities.
The illustrated Auto-Activities setup runs for one Turn. That is an example selection, not a required duration. Afterward, the results show allied units’ level gains, skill progression, and collected search rewards.
One example search result includes Tiny Fruit, Bakul, Smithing Stone, and 70 gold. Those are rewards from that run, not a fixed return for every use of Auto-Activities.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can you do after missing an opportunity?
You’ll need to restart the relevant chapter to revisit a missed opportunity. That recovery route does not guarantee that every category of missed content can be recovered.
When can you switch to another protagonist’s path?
You can switch stories after the selected protagonist reaches Dagsion. Choosing a path through an obelisk locks you into that protagonist’s story until that point.
Must generic Subquests be completed for every Part I protagonist?
Generic Subquests only need to be completed once across the protagonists’ Part I playthroughs. That shared completion rule applies to generic Subquests, not route-specific quests or paralogues.
