The Hollow 4th Floor Relic: Puzzle Room Location, Tile Solution, and Rewards

The fourth-floor relic sits behind a tile puzzle in The Hollow. Its puzzle room is tucked inside Floor 4’s dark maze, so finding the chamber is part of the challenge.

Collecting the relic leaves you with a return trip: you must bring it back while avoiding the creature roaming the maze. This guide covers reaching the puzzle room, crossing the tiles, and escaping with the key.

How to get the 4th floor relic in The Hollow

Reach the puzzle room, complete the skeleton’s tile challenge, and carry the relic back to the lobby.

Part 1 – Reach the Floor 4 puzzle room

The theater’s elevator takes you down to the maze.

Enter the theater

Follow the red-lit brick hallway to the theater’s front entrance and go through the doors into the lobby.

Enter the elevator

From the lobby, continue straight along the carpeted passage and walk into the elevator car.

Select Floor 4

Press button 4 on the elevator control panel to descend to Floor 4.

Find the purple portal

Leave the elevator in the dim lobby in front of the entrance labeled Floor 4, where the How To Play board stands on the right. Search the maze corridors for a glowing purple portal at the end of a red-carpeted hallway.

Enter the puzzle room

Step through the purple portal to enter the puzzle chamber.

Part 2 – Complete the skeleton’s tile puzzle and collect the relic

Watch the skeleton before attempting the crossing.

Watch the skeleton’s path

Speak with the skeleton, then stop before the grid. The chamber displays WATCH CLOSELY…. Memorize the illuminated tiles as the skeleton crosses; the approach has two bright red beams across the tile path.

Cross the tile grid

Make your way across the grid toward the far platform. A neon-green tile is a visible landmark along the crossing.

Collect the relic key

At the far end, approach and speak with the skeleton to receive the relic key on the green-glowing platform.

Part 3 – Carry the relic back to the lobby

Keep the key with you through the return journey.

Return through the portal

Retrace the illuminated pathway and step through the purple exit portal to return to the Floor 4 maze with the key.

Escape to the elevator

Run toward the maze exit and elevator doors, keeping clear of the roaming creature. On the escape approach, the elevator doorway is on the right.

Return to the lobby

Enter the elevator with the relic to return to the main lobby and finish the delivery.

Returning to the lobby earns you the Boo & Bub avatar item. A badge notification bearing the same name marks the completion.
