Poor Galaxy S8 sales the reason why Galaxy Note 8 release early on September 10

We’ve known for quite some time that Samsung is really liking the idea of releasing the Galaxy Note 8 earlier than usual this year. And we even had a date when it could announce the Galaxy Note 8, that being August 26.

Well, today’s rumor only boosts that tidbit. Turns out Samsung is pretty serious on Galaxy Note 8’s early release, tentatively set for September 10, and the launch of new iPhone — on the 10th Anniversary of the Apple’s phone, no less — isn’t the only reason Samsung looks hard-bent on launching the Note 8 quicker. As, it’s being reported that Galaxy S8 isn’t doing as good as was expected — in fact, Samsung sold about 9.8 million sets between Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, while they were able to sell about 12 million sets of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge last year during the same two month period after launch. That’s about 20% less. And very worrisome for Samsung.

The rumor mill is churning out leaks and stuff about the Galaxy Note 8 in full swing. We have the expected Note 8 pricing, as well as good shot at the device thanks to cases leaks and renders.

As per the info available so far, the Galaxy Note 8 would feature the current gen best Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of internal storage (probably UFS2.1), and 6.3-inch S8-like infinity display, packing in Quad HD+ resolution.

‘Samsung Galaxy Note FE global release’

Samsung is expected to make Galaxy Note 8 is first dual camera smartphone, so hopes are definitely sky-high here. After all, Samsung didn’t change much with the S8’s camera compared to S7, but now they are coming out with something new, and for the first time too. It was earlier thought that Galaxy C10 and Galaxy J7 2017 China edition could be the first one to sport dual camera, but it turns Samsung kept this price for its most anticipated handset right now in the lineup.

The Galaxy Note 8 could be powered by 3,300mAh battery, and may arrive in three colors at launch at the minimum: Gold, Black and Blue.
