Pushbullet is one of the most powerful apps to have graced the Android app market. The app makes it much easier to access your Android notifications using other devices and interact with them in a more useful way.
However, the developers have been in slumberland for ages, denying what was once a great app the much-needed updates to add flavor and fix bugs as well. This ends today as Pushbullet is finally receiving a new software update that tags along plenty of cool additions.
First up is the new UI that takes after Google’s Material Design, thus introducing bottom bar navigation in place of the hamburger menu, the UI is now whiter although a bit of the signature green accent is present.
Thanks to the new adaptive icon support, Pushbullet blends in perfectly with the rest of the home screen, but this needs Android Oreo and above. It gets even better thanks to the in-app dark mode toggle that allows you to switch to this night-friendly view, but you must be a Pro user to access this feature.
If you aren’t part of the beta program already, you may have to wait for quite some time before this new update shows up on your Pushbullet app, so be patient. If you can’t wait, join the beta program here.
