Join the World Boss arena, shoot Gourdzilla, and respond to its combat prompts until its health reaches zero.
Gourdzilla is the World Boss in +1gun Forge, and defeating it earns Candies and Tickets. Its combat prompts call for different responses throughout the encounter. This guide covers entering the arena, handling those mechanics, and finishing the fight.
How to defeat the World Boss in +1gun Forge
Follow the combat prompts as they appear throughout the fight.
Join through the World Boss notification
Look along the right edge of your screen for the World Boss notification and click GO to teleport into the arena. The notification can appear alongside the stage-clear screen.
Wait for Gourdzilla to spawn
Stay inside the arena while the WORLD BOSS IN countdown runs. Gourdzilla appears when the timer finishes.
Start shooting Gourdzilla
Aim at the boss and keep firing to reduce its health bar. Watch for the combat prompts while you attack.
Gather inside the gold circle
When “Stand in the gold circle together!” appears, join the other players inside the yellow ring on the arena floor. Keep shooting Gourdzilla while you stand within it.
Free teammates caught in vines
When vines imprison a teammate, aim at their vine cage and shoot until they escape. The trap can recur late in the fight, so free trapped teammates again even when Gourdzilla is close to defeat.
Respond to the lantern objective
When “Shoot the lanterns!” appears, switch your attention to that objective.
Separate when someone is marked
Stay away from another marked teammate when the warning appears. If you receive “You’re marked! Run!”, move away from your teammates. The expanding red circle around you marks the danger area, and separating protects teammates from splash damage.
Focus fire on the glowing head
When “Shoot its glowing head!” appears, aim directly at Gourdzilla’s glowing yellow head. Hits there deal massive critical damage during this opening.
Drain Gourdzilla’s remaining health
Keep attacking and responding to the active prompts until the boss’s health reaches zero and Gourdzilla is defeated.
The reward popup appears after you defeat Gourdzilla. The victory screen shows Candy x375, Ticket x2, and a TOP 3! placement.
The lobby ore chest in +1gun Forge
After teleporting back to the lobby hub, you can claim an ore chest. Claiming the chest gives you 54 Ore.
