Get pets in +1 Gun Forge by defeating certain dungeon bosses for Dragon Eggs, hatching them in your Backpack, and equipping the pets.
Pets hatch from eggs, so getting an egg is your first goal. Dragon Eggs come from clearing certain boss stages, and each hatch gives you a pet. This guide covers the dungeon route, the other egg listings, and the bonuses your pets can provide.
How to get pets in +1 Gun Forge
Enter the dungeon and clear the boss stages
Approach the large purple portal identified by Popgunner and STAGE 2. Continue through the Stage 3 enemy, the three shamblers in Stage 4, and the Stage 5 boss encounter to reach The Butcher in Stage 6. His HP reads 21K / 21K HP, and Stage 6 displays Suggested: 560. Defeat him and look for Dragon Egg found! Open it in your Backpack, which identifies the egg reward.
Leave the dungeon
Step onto the glowing blue exit circle and use E at the E Leave prompt to return to the main lobby.
Open your Backpack and hatch the egg
Click the Backpack icon on the left side of the screen, then select Eggs. Find the Dragon Egg, labeled Rare, and hatch it through your Backpack. The egg interface includes an Open 1 control.
Equip your hatched pet
Switch to the Pets tab in your Backpack and select your hatched pet. Press Equip; when Crystal Dragon is selected, its button appears as Equip [1].

The egg-opening menu also offers Open 3.
The Pets stand also lists Dragon Egg, with ? Odds and HATCH controls. Those controls belong to the stand’s menu; you can also find Dragon Eggs under Eggs in your Backpack and hatch them through Backpack.

What bonuses do pets give, and how many can you equip?

Your Backpack’s pet controls include Equip Best. The Pets menu also offers My Pets and +1 Slot alongside its equipment counter.
The Pets menu also displays an inventory counter reading Pets 2/60. Within the selected pet’s details, Make Golden appears beside a 1/5 indicator.
Hatched pets have their own rarities and stat bonuses. These two hatch outcomes give you the following effects:
The hatch reward screen identifies your new pet by name and rarity.
Choose your equipped pet around the Power and Luck effects you want. The bonuses on its card give you a concrete reason to put that hatch to work.
