Fly to Heaven Island, enter the Dark Spirit portal, and defeat Dark Spirit by flying through timed colored rings and exposed gold core rings.
The Dark Spirit boss fight takes place in Ride A Pet. You have 10:00 to defeat it, with ring chains driving the fight and Heaven Mastery rewards waiting afterward. This guide covers the entrance, timed rings, core openings, and reward collection.
How to defeat the Void Boss in Ride A Pet
The arena has a circular platform surrounded by ring routes. Their colors and labels identify the attacks available during the fight. Positive values indicate damage dealt to Dark Spirit.

Before awakening, the boss display reads 4,000 / 4,000 HP. Dark Spirit emerges at the arena’s center with 16,000 / 16,000 HP when the battle begins; a later battle display has an 18,000 HP maximum.
The health bar across the top tracks your progress, while Time Left shows the remaining battle time.
The THE SPIRIT IS ENRAGED! banner marks Dark Spirit’s enraged state. Core rings appear again during this stage, giving you further core openings to attack. The enrage screen pairs 5,500 / 18,000 HP with 06:59 remaining on the timer.
Reach the entrance, work through the ring attacks, and finish by collecting your boss and mastery rewards.
Phase 1 – Reach Heaven Island and enter the boss arena
Find the Dark Spirit entrance at Heaven’s Gate.
Fly to Heaven Island
Mount your flying pet and ascend until you reach Heaven Island’s floating cloud platform.
Wait for the portal to open
Stay on the island while the portal countdown runs out. Watch for The Dark Spirit Stirs! across the top of the screen, announcing that the entrance at Heaven’s Gate has opened.
Enter the Dark Spirit portal
Approach the glowing purple ring and use Enter, shown with the E interaction, to reach the boss realm. The entrance can display Open! Awakens In 01:50, showing the remaining awakening countdown.
Phase 2 – Damage Dark Spirit through rings and core openings
Complete timed ring chains and take the core openings as they appear.
Fly through the colored rings
Inside the arena, wait for Dark Spirit to awaken before beginning your attacks. You can circle the platform while waiting. Once the fight starts, fly through each ring before its individual countdown expires, then continue through successive rings to complete chains and reduce the boss’s HP. If you’re knocked off your pet, remount and resume. You can also be knocked off after Dark Spirit becomes enraged.
Dive through the exposed core rings
When THE CORE IS EXPOSED! DIVE THROUGH THE GOLD RINGS! appears, fly through the gold rings. Continue completing ring chains and taking core openings until Dark Spirit reaches zero HP and the Spirit Defeated! screen appears.
Phase 3 – Collect your rewards and return to Heaven
Finish at the victory screen, then claim your available mastery tiers.
Collect the boss rewards
Review Your Fight for your chain total and damage contribution. For example, the fight summary can pair 14 completed chains with 4,825 damage. Collect 250 Feathers and +1 Mastery from the victory rewards.
Return to Heaven
Select the green Back to Heaven button to teleport out of the arena.
Claim completed Heaven Mastery tiers
Open Heaven Mastery from the left-side menu and press Claim on each completed tier.
Give gold core rings your attention when the exposure banner appears. Each one deals more damage than an individual Easy, Medium, or Hard ring’s positive attack value.
