Blox Fruits is getting a full First Sea rework with rebuilt early islands, new UI and island activities, plus the new Magnet Fruit. The rework and fruit are not live yet, and the full trailer arrives on August 29, 2026.
The First Sea rework rebuilds the starter islands, cleans up the interface, adds new island events, and introduces the Magnet Fruit. The fast-cut teaser is a preview rather than a playable release, so none of this content is in the game yet. The next reveal is the full trailer on August 29, 2026. Here is everything included in the rework preview and what players can expect when it arrives.
| Feature | What was shown |
|---|---|
| First Sea rework | Rebuilt starter islands and a brighter, busier overall look |
| Magnet Fruit | New fruit with a giant purple mechanical golem transformation |
| Map & completion UI | Island “Completed” banner plus a map that recommends where to go next |
| NPC dialogue UI | Streamlined dialogue and shop boxes replacing the old full-screen text |
| Marine Fortress ship event | Man the cannons to fend off incoming marine ships |
| Boss & activity changes | Gorilla King golden-aura transformation and a buildable snowman |
| Trailer date | Full trailer set for August 29, 2026 |
The First Sea is being rebuilt around a brighter world, clearer progression, and more activities. The island overhaul is the foundation of the update, while the new interface and events make the early-game route easier to follow and more active.
First Sea islands getting rebuilt
| Island or area | Teased change |
|---|---|
| Starter town square | Rebuilt with working windmills and a brighter, busier layout |
| Desert Village | Refreshed classic desert town |
| Magma Village | Erupting volcano and glowing lava trails across the island |
| Fountain City | Rebuilt multi-tiered fountain city over the ocean |
| Marine Fortress | Renovated fortress hosting a new cannon ship-defense event |
| Frozen Village | Snow biome with a snowman activity and a “Frozen Village Completed” banner |
| Jungle Island | Denser foliage and bridges, plus the Gorilla King boss moment |
Key The teaser opens on “SEA 1 REWORK” before touring visibly rebuilt versions of the classic early-game islands. This is a full rebuild of the starting area rather than a sequel sea. It directly addresses the complaints displayed as thought bubbles: “No new content,” “Boring bandit beater,” “Looks so old,” and “UPDATE THE GAME!”
The starter town square gets the clearest before-and-after upgrade, with working windmills, richer lighting, and a livelier layout replacing the flat old version. The route then passes through a refreshed Desert Village, a Magma Village with an erupting volcano and glowing lava trails, a rebuilt multi-tiered Fountain City over the water, a renovated Marine Fortress, a snowy Frozen Village, and a denser Jungle Island crossed by bridges. These locations make up the new First Sea art pass; map layouts can still change before release.

New systems and events arriving with the rework
| System | What it changes |
|---|---|
| NPC dialogue & shop UI | Smaller, cleaner boxes replace the old full-screen text |
| Island completion tracking | World map marks finished islands “Completed” with a star rating |
| Recommended map flow | Map points you toward the next area to tackle |
| Marine Fortress ship event | Adds a defend-the-fort event where you man the cannons |
| Snowman activity | Roll snowballs that combine into an animated snowman |
| Gorilla King transformation | Boss gains a golden-aura power-up state |
The rework adds new systems and activities alongside the island rebuilds, changing how the First Sea route plays. The most visible upgrade is the NPC dialogue and shop interface. Interacting with the Sword Dealer of the West opens a compact box containing options such as Dual Katana and Iron Mace, replacing the old text that covered the entire screen.
Progression is now easier to track. Completing an island’s objectives triggers a Completed milestone on the updated world map. The Frozen Village example displays “FROZEN VILLAGE COMPLETED” with a star rating, while the map recommends the next area instead of leaving players to wander. At Marine Fortress, speak to Parlus to man the cannons and defend the fort as enemy warships close in. In the snow biome, rolling snowballs combines them into an animated snowman. The Gorilla King also powers up into a golden-aura transformation state on Jungle Island.
Magnet Fruit and its golem transformation

The Magnet Fruit transforms its user into a giant purple mechanical golem. The transformation rises through a burst of dust and sand in a village street, establishing the fruit’s magnetism and metal-manipulation theme. Instead of a standard fruit showcase, its introduction focuses on a hulking metal construct built for large-scale combat.
The Magnet Fruit has no published rarity, full moveset, cooldowns, damage numbers, Beli or Robux price, trading value, or awakening details. Specific kits and prices circulating before release are guesses. Its defining feature is its large, combat-focused mechanical transformation.
Don’t trade for a guessed Magnet Fruit value — it has no price, rarity, or trade tier yet. Wait for its in-game listing or patch notes before assigning it a value.
When the full trailer drops
Key The full trailer releases on Saturday, August 29, 2026, as stated on the teaser’s closing card: “Trailer Release Date: August 29th, 2026.” This is the full trailer date, not the update release date. The First Sea rework and Magnet Fruit do not have a release date yet, making August 29 the next major reveal rather than the day the content goes live.
What to hold off assuming before launch

The rebuilt islands are previews of the upcoming First Sea rather than the current live map. The starter islands still use their old versions, so they will not play like the reworked areas until the update launches. The Magnet Fruit is also unavailable, and it has no moveset, tier, shop price, or trading value yet.
This update is separate from the Summer PvP balance patch currently running in the live game, whose notes arrived around August 6, 2026. That balance pass reshaped PvP but is not the First Sea content drop. The First Sea rework and Magnet Fruit come after it. Different update numbers are circulating, but the final number will appear in the patch notes.
