If you want to jump in as soon as the update arrives, make sure you are ready before the scheduled launch time, as the game may require an update or brief maintenance before the new content becomes accessible.
The Season 2 launch brings the new seasonal islands, Evomon, bosses, Guild features, Assist Pets, and Auto-Hunting system together rather than introducing them as separate updates.
New Auto-Hunting system makes grinding easier
One of the biggest quality-of-life additions in Season 2 is the new Auto-Hunting system. Instead of manually handling every part of your farming routine, you can use Auto-Hunting to assist with grinding.

This should make it easier to spend time farming resources and progressing your Evomon without having to remain involved in every encounter. If you are looking to build your collection or strengthen your team, the new system can help make the grind more manageable.
Guilds bring a new way to play together
Season 2 also introduces Guilds, giving you a new way to team up with other players. You can now create or join a Guild and take part in the season alongside other members.

The Guild system becomes even more useful through Assist Pets. Guild members can lend and borrow Assist Pets when taking on challenges. This gives you access to additional support while also allowing the player providing an Assist Pet to earn rewards.
If you are struggling with a particular challenge, checking what Assist Pets are available through your Guild could give you another way to improve your chances.
Explore three new seasonal areas
Season 2 expands the world with several new seasonal locations, each built around a different elemental theme.
Polar Rift combines two dramatically different environments, with icy cliffs set against volcanic terrain. The unusual combination gives the area a distinct look and sets up the season’s broader fire-versus-ice theme.

Glacial Eyes takes you into a frozen environment filled with snow, ice formations, and enormous waterfalls. The area is also home to one of the season’s major legendary encounters, the King Of Ice.
Lava Nexus provides the opposite experience, surrounding you with volcanic and lava-themed scenery. You can find the King Of Fire here, making the area an important destination if you want to take on one of Season 2’s biggest bosses.
New fire and ice Evomon
Two new Evomon families headline the creature additions in Season 2.

The Ignibud family brings a fire-elemental theme to the roster, while the Frostin family focuses on ice. You can also encounter two new bosses tied to these elements: Ignifist is the new fire boss, while Frostclaw represents the ice side.
The elemental additions give you more Evomon to collect and add new encounters to your progression through the seasonal content.

Take on the new legendary bosses
Season 2 introduces two major legendary bosses that you will want to keep on your radar.
The King Of Ice can be found in Glacial Eyes, while the King Of Fire awaits you in Lava Nexus. These encounters provide some of the season’s most challenging content and give you another reason to explore the new islands beyond simply collecting Evomon.
You will want to prepare your team before taking on these encounters, especially as you progress deeper into the seasonal content.

Celesthorn leads the Season Battle Pass
Celesthorn is the featured Evomon tied to the Season Battle Pass. If you are working through the seasonal progression, Celesthorn is one of the key rewards to keep in mind.
Alongside the new Evomon, bosses, areas, and systems, the Battle Pass gives you another progression path to work through during Season 2.

How to prepare for Evomon Season 2

From there, you can begin hunting the new Ignibud and Frostin families, take on Ignifist and Frostclaw, and eventually work toward the King Of Ice and King Of Fire encounters.
You should also consider joining a Guild early. Having access to Assist Pets from other members can make some challenges easier while giving you another way to earn rewards.
