Three weeks ago, Lenovo’s Zuk Edge made its way online through a leak. And today we finally have confirmation on the release date of the dual-curved display toting phone. The previous leak showed us that the Zuk Edge will feature pretty thin bezels, though not as thin as those of the Xiaomi Mi Mix.
The Zuk Edge is set for release this week, Lenovo’s Vice President revealed today. The smartphone is expected to feature Qualcomm’s current top offering, the Snapdragon 821 and 4GB of RAM. The specifications reveal the smartphone to hold its ground against other competition.
As known from previous leaks the Zuk Edge will retail in two color variants. In the software department, the smartphone is expected to ship with Marshmallow 6.0.1 and not Nougat unfortunately. But an update to Nougat can be expected around Q1 of 2017.
Lenovo is indeed working hard on Nougat update, as a Z2 Android 7.0 firmware is already leaked on the web, while the OTA is expected to be released soon.
