Lenovo is preparing to release a new device with dual-curve screen, and today, that device just got real. It looks like Lenovo edge-toting endeavor will be called Zuk Edge, and we also have its specs available.
The news comes from a very trusted Chinese source, who has had tremendous success with leaks. See images below for Chinese text first, then English translation.
Let’s talk about the Zuk Edge specifications first, in what could be the most low-priced Android device, featuring curves on both sides of the display.
The Tenna listing of Lenovo ZUK Edge reveals that the device could sport a 5.5″ Full HD display. There would be 4GB RAM on board, along with storage choice of 32 and 64 GB.
It’s also rumored that ZUK Edge will sport 13MP camera at back, while for shooting selfies, you will have 8MP cam. An avergae 3000 mAh battery could power the ZUK Edge.
ZUK Edge Release Date
It’s hard to accurately pinpoint the ZUK Edge launch right now, but expect it to hit the Chinese markets by December end, 2016. Other markets like India and Europe can hope for the Jan-Feb 2017 release.
ZUK Edge Specs
- 5.5-inch FHD display (1920 x 1080 pixels)
- 4GB RAM
- 32/64 GB storage
- 13MP rear camera; 8MP front camera

We expect Lenovo to hand out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow pre-installed on ZUK Edge, because they don’t have a very good record with updates, of which Android 7.1 Nougat is the latest OS right now.
