Harvesting materials in Fortnite makes up for at least half of the gameplay experience for newcomers and veterans alike. Chipping them out with a pickaxe quickly and efficiently is vital if you want to stay ahead of your competition in Fortnite, whether you’re playing Solo or with your friends.
You probably had some real nice spots lined up in the previous season of Fortnite. Season 5 however, is here with a lot of new stuff, including a new map. And that means lots of new POIs, locations to discover, and chalk out new routes and drop points.

What is Camp Cod in Fortnite
Camp Cod in Fortnite is a POI and though there are a lot of new POIs to find and explore, you really don’t want to miss out on this one. If you’re a returning player you’d remember going to Camp Cod in one of the Week 9 challenges where you had to stoke campfires. Veterans in Fortnite however know this mini-island to be the prime source of metal in Fortnite.

Where is Camp Cod in Fortnite’s Season 5?
Camp Cod, just like in the previous season, is located exactly where it was the last time. If you look at the map below, you’ll see that it’s located on a tiny island in the Southwest corner of the map, below Catty Corner.
We recommend making your way to Camp Cod with a few weapons at the least. The place can sometimes be filled with harvesters looking to stock up on metal and hence you might need something to defend yourself in case you get attacked in the area.
