In the overly competitive world of short videos, it can be easy to get swept up in dreams of free followers. Followers are no easy task to get, and even more difficult to keep! As people start turning to TikTok as an actual profession, there are a number of sites popping up that claim to provide free followers for you.
One of these is TikTok Value.com. So let’s dive in and figure out what it is, and if it really works.
What is TikTok Value.com
TikTok Value.com is a new website that claims to be able to add up to 50,000 followers to your TikTok account. This is not the first website to offer such services. In fact, ever so often, new websites pop up that claim to do almost the exact same thing.
The idea is to lure customers in with dreams of free followers. 50,000 followers is no small number when it comes to social media apps. A lot of time and effort (and sometimes money too) goes into the accumulation of such a large following.
The site claims to add followers to your account within fifteen minutes. TikTok Value.com claims to have an algorithm to ‘hack’ the user database to increase your followers. The site even offers you a choice between 1000, 5000, 10000, 25000, and 50000 followers. Although, why anyone would opt for fewer followers, doesn’t really make sense. Further, the site claims offer all of this for free. But is that claim even legit? And even if it is, are the followers that they claim to add are genuine?
Is TikTok Value.com legit?
Well, it doesn’t really look like TikTok Value.com is very legit. In fact, TikTok Value.com looks almost identical to another such site that offers free followers, TikTok Highstar. Neither does the site deliver on its promise, nor is the site itself safe. Our antivirus picked up sixteen trackers on the website. Of course, this is not uncommon, but the website in question is empty, and simply redirects you to use it on a phone instead.
When you access the site on a phone web browser, you are immediately asked to input your username. However, there is no option to add your password (which is good), but it does raise the question of identity.
Nothing is for free, and definitely not the TikTok followers
Well, we went ahead and tried out TikTok Value.com so that you don’t have to and this is what we found.
As mentioned above, when you access the website on a PC browser, it simply tells you that you can only use the service on a phone browser.
When you go to TikTok Value.com on your phone browser you are asked to input your TikTok username and the number of followers that you would like (for free).
Once you do that, the site does a whole show of trying to connect to the TikTok servers and hacking the database. It then tells you that the server is overloaded and that you need to complete an offer to apply the free followers.
We tried doing a few surveys, but nothing was achieved. The site keeps pushing survey after survey on you.
How to get TikTok followers
The best thing for your TikTok account is organically growing your follower count. This way you know your followers aren’t bots and will actually interact with your content, thus improving your visibility on the app. Here are some tips to increase your follower count on TikTok.
- Be consistent:Â You TikTok followers follow you for your own personal brand of content. Consistency in your content is a great way to build your followers
- Be regular: People stay on the TikTok app for hours a day. This means that they need new content to watch continuously. So why not give the audience what it needs right?
- Use hashtags:Â On the TikTok app, hashtags act as search engines, helping users compile a list of similar content. Using relative hashtags will help your content appear for the users that are actually looking for similar content. This increases your chances of getting more followers.
- Promote cross-platform: If you have accounts on different social media platforms (like every person in the world), you can promote your TikTok account by posting on them. TikTok even lets you link your Instagram account to directly post content there!
Final verdict
You can go ahead and give TikTok Value.com a try, but don’t get your hopes up. It seems like the site is mainly designed for data mining and ads. As far as we can tell, it doesn’t really have any ‘algorithm’ to increase your followers on TikTok.
