HMD’s launch of the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 2018 and Nokia 1 is just the beginning of what should be an exciting year for the Finnish company.
As of this writing, the latest flagship phone from the company is the Sirocco. However, it’s powered by 2017 hardware and an equally aging design language. Just like we anticipated, HMD is not done yet and apparently, there are two Snapdragon 845-powered flagship phones being lined up.
The two are Nokia 8 Pro and Nokia 9. It’s not the first time these two are showing up and in fact, we have quite extensive coverages of the pair. Back then, however, there wasn’t any concrete evidence that the pair exists, but according to folks at Nokiapoweruser, they do believe these two will be here later this year.

The Nokia-focused publication points out that the Nokia 9 will be the ultimate flagship from HMD this 2018, featuring the best-in-class design, camera and a bunch of innovative features. As for the Nokia 8 Pro, it will be an understudy to the Nokia 9, which means you can expect a slightly weaker package.
As you’d expect, the flagship Nokia 9 will also get a bigger, better display screen with features such as in-display fingerprint scanning on the cards. Like previously rumored, both the Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro will be unveiled somewhere in August or September, possibly at the IFA 2018.

Given its premium status, the Nokia 9 will command a higher price tag compared to the Nokia 8 Pro, with rumors pointing to figures in the same bracket as the Galaxy S9+, which makes sense especially now that the Nokia 8 Sirocco has a massive price tag of €749.
HMD is also said to be working on a Nokia 4 handset to replace the Nokia 3, which you can read more about here.
