QUICK ANSWER
Thunderbird Drift Zone is in west Takashiro near the Temple of Nachi Falls area, and Thunderbird 2 is completed by earning 2 Stars there in any Italian car.

Thunderbird 2 is a Spring Daily Challenge in Series 3: Italian Exotics, so the run is mainly about matching the car nationality and hitting the required star rating at one Drift Zone. Before setting off, open the Festival Playlist, make sure Thunderbird 2 is the active daily challenge, and pin it if you want the tracker visible while driving.

How Thunderbird 2 clears at Thunderbird Drift Zone

Thunderbird 2 only cares about three things: you are in an Italian car, you run Thunderbird Drift Zone, and your final Drift Zone result reaches 2 Stars. Thunderbird Drift Zone does the scoring once you pass through the start gate, so stay sideways through the corridor until the finish gate.

KEY!

The current in-game 2-Star line shown for Thunderbird Drift Zone is 100,000 points. Use that as the number to beat, but still read the live Drift Zone HUD before your run in case the displayed star target differs in your playlist session.

Italian car choice for Thunderbird

Any Italian car qualifies, so do not get stuck hunting for one exact model. The cleaner pick is a car you can hold at angle without firing past the bends, because very fast Italian hypercars can make the zone harder by arriving too quickly and leaving less room to correct.

If you have an Italian drift tune or a dedicated Italian drift car, use it first. If not, take a regular Italian car that feels controllable and aim for a steady slide rather than a full-throttle speed run.

QUICK WIN

Start slower than your instinct says and hold a steady angle through the middle of the zone instead of blasting into the first bend.

Fix a low Thunderbird Drift Zone score

If your score lands short, adjust your entry speed first. Going in too fast can throw the car wide, while going in too gently can leave you without enough angle and momentum to build points through the middle of the zone.

Do not straighten the car before the finish gate. Keep some angle through the end of Thunderbird Drift Zone, because ending the slide early can leave the run under the 2-Star line even when the approach looked clean.

If the first direction feels awkward, turn around and try the zone from the opposite side. Thunderbird is short enough that a reversed approach can make the rhythm easier, especially in a fast Italian car that wants to overshoot the first bend.
