Sol’s RNG is heading toward another interesting phase, with the developers discussing several changes that could affect both collectors and long-time endgame players. The biggest talking points are the possible return of older seasonal auras and a potential overhaul for Unfathomable Ruins, one of the game’s most demanding left-hand gears.
There is also a broader roadmap taking shape around hybrid biomes, a possible abyss or deep-sea area, ARG content and more community-created aura additions. However, it is important to separate confirmed plans from ideas that are still being discussed, because the developers have not attached firm release dates to most of these features.
| Feature | Current status | What it could mean |
|---|---|---|
| Older seasonal auras | Planned/discussed | Possible return through difficult events |
| Unfathomable Ruins buff | Under consideration | More competitive endgame left-hand gear |
| Hybrid biomes | Future plan | Two existing biome concepts combined |
| Abyss/deep sea | Future plan | New environment and potentially new rare auras |
| ARG content | Planned | Puzzles with possible in-game rewards |
| Community auras | Under consideration | More whitelisted designs may enter the game |
| Exact release time | Not confirmed | No reliable official time yet |
How the seasonal aura return could work
One of the most significant proposals concerns limited-time seasonal auras that are no longer obtainable.
Historically, seasonal content in Sol’s RNG has created a strong sense of exclusivity. Once an event ends, its associated limited auras can become unobtainable, which is why older seasonal cosmetics can be particularly desirable among collectors. Current community documentation continues to classify many event auras as limited, meaning they were tied to their original event windows.

The developers are now considering a middle ground: instead of simply putting old seasonal auras back into the normal roll pool, they could return through high-difficulty special events.
That approach would preserve some of their exclusivity while giving newer players another opportunity to obtain them.
In other words, this would not necessarily mean that an old seasonal aura becomes permanently obtainable. The more likely concept being discussed is that you would need to participate in a special challenge or event when the developers activate it.
This is still an important distinction because the return system itself has not been released as a finalized feature. Players should therefore avoid treating every old seasonal aura as confirmed to return.
Why Unfathomable Ruins may be getting changed
Unfathomable Ruins is a Tier 11 left-hand gauntlet introduced with Eon 1-14. Its defining mechanic is Mana Accumulation: you gain one Mana per roll, and reaching 1,000 Mana converts that progress into 10 stacks of Mana Surge. Each Mana Surge stack multiplies Base Luck by 100x for its associated roll. The trade-off is that equipping the gauntlet disables the normal Bonus Roll mechanic.
The basic cycle currently looks like this:
| Mechanic | Current effect |
|---|---|
| Mana gained | 1 per roll |
| Mana required | 1,000 |
| Mana Surge gained | 10 stacks |
| Mana Surge | 100x Base Luck |
| Bonus Roll | Disabled |
| Gear type | T-11 left-hand |
| Crafting location | Jake’s Workshop |
The problem is that Sol’s RNG has continued to add stronger and more specialized equipment.
One example is The Thing, which changes the normal Bonus Roll multiplier to 11x. Current community documentation even notes that The Thing can be mathematically stronger than Unfathomable Ruins despite being a lower-tier piece of gear.

That has created a strange situation where one of the game’s most difficult T-11 left-hand gears does not necessarily feel like the obvious best choice in every scenario.
Community discussion has repeatedly focused on whether Unfathomable Ruins needs a buff, with players proposing everything from more frequent Mana Surge activations to additional luck or roll-speed benefits.
What the proposed Ruins buff could look like
The specific proposal discussed in the video centers on making the Mana mechanic more efficient. One community-favored idea is essentially to make the gauntlet provide 100 stacks of 14x luck, rather than relying on the current 10-stack, 100x burst structure.
This should be treated as a proposal rather than a confirmed final stat change. There is no reliable official patch note currently establishing that exact 100-stack/14x configuration as the final buff.

That distinction matters because Sol’s RNG development plans can change significantly between a developer discussion, a test build and the final live update.
Why the Ruins buff would matter for endgame players
The current design of Unfathomable Ruins is built around burst luck.
You spend a long period accumulating Mana, then receive a comparatively short period where your Base Luck is dramatically increased. That makes the gauntlet particularly interesting for players who are prepared to roll continuously for long sessions.
A reworked version could make its luck more consistent instead.

Rather than waiting for a 1,000-roll threshold and then receiving 10 boosted rolls, a larger number of smaller boosts could make the gauntlet easier to use across normal gameplay. It could also reduce the feeling that you are spending long stretches simply building toward the next Mana Surge.
That would be especially relevant as newer gear continues to provide strong passive or bonus-roll advantages. Current endgame equipment already includes options such as Genesis Drive, Heavenly Device and Singularity Gauntlet, with their own large luck and roll-speed effects.
When will these Sol’s RNG features release?
This is where the current information needs the most caution.
As of August 11, 2026, there is no confirmed official release date or exact release time for the seasonal-aura return system or the Unfathomable Ruins rework.
Recent Sol’s RNG updates have continued to follow a fairly active development schedule. For example, Eon 1.25 went live on July 11, 2026, adding new auras, aura reworks, UI changes and a temporary Red Full Moon event.
But that does not establish a release window for the features discussed in the video.
The official Sol’s RNG community server remains the most relevant place to watch for announcements because it is described as the official community hub where the development team shares updates, announcements and progress.
