The headline additions are waiting in the lobby before you load a round: a quest board on the side of the screen, a daily-reward calendar, a codes tab inside the shop, a full classes menu, and the new Mudrunner Jeep on the vehicle stand. How to set up your first post-update run in RUNAWAYS
Claim your daily reward
Open the daily-reward calendar and collect the day’s item. The 7-day track starts with 1,000 Credz on Day 1 and ends with a Minigun on Day 7, so log in every day to complete the track.
Redeem the codes
Open the shop’s codes tab and enter SUPERCAT to add a free Pistol to your lobby inventory, then enter RUN to collect 1,000 Credz.
Check quests and classes
Read the quest list on the right before starting so you can complete paying tasks during the run, then open the classes menu and choose what to save your Credz for.
Pick your vehicle
Use the free starter car for the full route, or buy the Mudrunner for extra armor and fuel between stops.
Head in and lean on the buffs
Start the match with the larger cash balance, then use the increased loot payouts to pay for your first weapon and class upgrades.

Key The Mudrunner is a comfort upgrade, not a race car. Its extra armor lets you absorb more police contact, while its noticeably larger fuel tank reduces the number of gas stops on the route. Its top speed is only slightly higher than the starter car’s, and either vehicle can easily earn you a speeding ticket. Stick with the free car if raw pace is your priority.

Loot the first house
Take quick valuables such as the trophy, watch, and Silver Tiara. Press E to pick up each item and drag it outside.
Pawn everything at TrashAmerica
Drive to the pawn shop and place the entire haul in the collection basket. This gives you the starting cash needed for the rest of the route.
Refuel at Exxon
Stop at the Exxon station, grab the reworked nozzle, and fill the tank before starting the longer drives.
Rob the gas station register
Empty the till and clear the shelves. Take the low-tier loot at this first stop to build your cash quickly.
Break the ATM
Smash the outdoor ATM with a melee tool and collect its heavily increased cash payout.
Grab and sell high-value items
At later stops, leave the clutter behind and load up on high-ticket loot. A stolen desktop tower sells for around $558 when pawned at TrashAmerica.
Buy better melee tools
Buy a crowbar first and a baseball bat next, then keep filling your vehicle with high-value items instead of low-value clutter.

Break and loot everything along the route. Routine looting now produces serious income: ATMs and safes deliver the largest gains, while mail safes, mailboxes, and trash all pay more than before. Sniper rounds also deal slightly more damage and punch through grouped targets, making them excellent against a line of pursuing police.
The update buffed ATMs, so break every ATM you drive past — a single one now drops around $420 in cash.
Weapon-switch glitch on ATMs and NPCs
The old crowbar-and-baseball-bat trick still works. Equip both weapons, run an auto-clicker, and switch rapidly between them to crack ATMs almost instantly and take down NPCs quickly. The patch made the trick noticeably slower, and exploits like this get removed quickly. Use it while it works, but build your route around normal melee tools.
Horn, trailer home, and other quiet additions
The update also adds several smaller changes. You can now honk your car horn, although the horn is purely cosmetic. The rebalanced credit shop reduces the grind required to buy classes, and several UI screens have been cleaned up. A new trailer home also spawns on the map as another place to pull over and loot. It is rare enough that you can finish a full run without encountering one.
