Huawei has had a bit of a controversy with the P10 series of smartphones. Although the new flagships are awesome, the company did cut corners when it comes to Memory/Storage configurations.
It was discovered that some P10 units shipped with faster RAMs while others had slower chips. Same was the case with storage. Several users reported starting Read/Write differences on their devices. Turns out Huawei equipped some units with UFS 2.1 storage, some with UFS 2.0, and some even with eMMC 5.1.

A recent test shows how much difference there is between UFS 2.1 and UFS 2.0. A weibo user posted a video showing the difference between app launch speeds on the Huawei P10 Plus running UFS 2.1 and UFS 2.0 storage.
The app used here was the once popular Pokemon GO, which as seen in the video, launches faster on the device with UFS 2.1 storage. Check out the source link to watch the video.
