Optus Australia confirms Galaxy S7 Oreo release for June end, and a Huawei Mate 10 Pro MMS bug fixer update

Samsung is already getting ready to release Android 8.0 Oreo to the Galaxy J 2017 series, but those using the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on Australia’s Optus carrier are yet to receive the Oreo update. On the brighter side, the carrier has now confirmed that the update will be ready to roll out by end of June, which has only four days left.

In short, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users on Optus will begin receiving Android Oreo by the end of this week.

Also on the list of devices that will receive an update soon is the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, whose update will be here to fix the issue where MMS wasn’t working over VoWiFi in flight mode and XCAP not working.

At the moment, the update is being tested, with the release date to be confirmed.
