OnePlus 6T Android 10

The OxygenOS 10 update based on Android 10 is now available for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, but even the beta version of the update is yet to be available for the OnePlus 6 and 6T users. That surely has a lot of users waiting desperately for OxygenOS 10 update.

Good news then, that OnePlus realized what users are feeling and shared a timeline of the Android 10 update for the OnePlus 6 and 6T. Not only that, they also spilled some beans on Android 10 release for the OnePlus 5 and 5T, too.

On the forum post, the company announced that they plan to release the Android 10 beta update under the Open Beta channel for the OnePlus 6 series handsets in October itself.

OnePlus further revealed that they plan to release the stable Android 10 update in November, so if the beta updates are not your thing, you will have to wait for a month more to get your hands on the OxygenOS 10 update. A month’s time would allow OnePlus to satisfyingly test the update and make sure the Android 10 is ready to be released under the stable channel, as OxygenOS 10 update.

As regards OnePlus 5 and 5T, OnePlus plans to release the OxygenOS 10 update for the devices in Q2 2020. However, as the Open Beta program is now closed for the OnePlus 5 series, the Android 10 beta won’t be released for the two devices under the Open Beta channel.
