We recently told you that the OnePlus 5T will soon start receiving the Oreo Open beta. Now, the beta is rolling out to users of the device in China as H2OS beta.
If you’re in China and are open to trying out the Android Oreo Open beta for the OnePlus 5T, then you can do so right now. OnePlus was actually supposed to release the beta earlier this month. The OnePlus 5 also got the update recently, so only the 5T remains to be updated now.
From the changelog, the Oreo Open beta for OnePlus 5T brings the new applications shortcuts, new design for the shortcut panel, auto-fill, Picture-in-Picture, Smart text selection, and several UI changes. It also installs the December Android security patch.

Since this is a beta, you can expect to come across a few bugs and issues. As of now, there is an issue with WeChat fingerprint payments. Also, some third-party apps will crash and not work with the update. To use the update, you will have to download the firmware file and install it manually on your device.
