Play Store updates are becoming a biweekly thing now with Google pushing a new Play Store version at-least twice every month. The last Play store update (v8.1.73) brought with it no noticeable changes, and the case remains to be the same for the newly released Play Store version 8.2.32.
The latest Google Play Store update which is rolling out in stages to select users comes with version 8.2.32. It’s a pretty significant jump in version number, as compared to the previous version 8.1.73. However, this doesn’t mean the new Play Store comes with new stuff to play with. Matterfact, the 8.2.32 release is as much of a ghost update as all previous updates have been.
But of course, there must be changes at the code level on the new version that we may not see but will definitely make the app perform better. And that’s reason enough for us Android enthusiasts to have the latest version of Play Store installed on our devices.
Since Play Store updates roll out in stages, it’ll take some days (even weeks) before it reaches your device. But, thanks to the helpful community of Android users, the APK file for the latest version of Play Store is now available for download.
