How to reach Magdalena from the Sunken Village beacon
Key The whole run goes from the Sunken Village beacon across two bridges and a cave before dropping you into Magdalena’s swamp arena.

Stay calm, parry less and dodge more, then punish Magdalena whenever she overcommits. Her limited set of telegraphed attacks makes the fight easy to read, but every hit deals heavy damage when it connects.
Push damage hard and burn her down before the fight drags on and adds start crowding the arena. For extra breathing room, spend a Glimpse before dropping into the mire to unlock Smert as a friendly phantom. He is not durable and will not carry the fight, but he draws Magdalena’s attention and creates openings for you.
Once she goes down, claim Magdalena’s Memento from the altar along with a Beacon stuffed with Ova to cash in back at Marrow Keep.
