QUICK ANSWER
To reach the Conquered Temple’s southeast Corrupted Gate, start at Outskirts of Mammon, follow the route through Road to Absolution, Revenant Graves, Abbey Entrance, and Sester’s Refuge, then cleanse the Sester’s Gate beacon to open the Corrupted Gate behind it.

The southeast Corrupted Gate in the Ruins of Mammon is the doorway into the Conquered Temple, and it stays sealed until you cleanse the beacon that sits right in front of it. The path there is a straight run of drops, jump pads, and skippable enemies, so once you know the line you can reach the gate in a couple of minutes without fighting much of anything.

This gate is one of the three Corrupted Gates in the Ruins of Mammon, and it’s the eastern one on the world map. Behind it lies the Conquered Temple region, but the gate is inert on arrival — the Sester’s Gate beacon parked in front of it has to be cleansed before the portal will let you through. Everything up to that point is just travel.

Traps, ambushes, and the enemies worth dodging

Most of this route is built for running, not fighting, but a few spots will punish a careless dash. Right after you drop into the Road to Absolution, the ground is seeded with hunters’ traps and the air with their arrows — keep moving and weave rather than sprinting in a straight line. The stairs and platforms leading up the cliffs are thick with enemies too, but you can skip essentially all of them if you don’t stop to trade blows.

The two danger points where you actually have to be ready are near the top. Just past the Abbey Entrance beacon there’s a small ambush waiting on the approach, and the closer you get to the Sester’s Gate beacon the more Sester cultists crowd the path — expect a short gauntlet before you can interact with it. A few players also take a lower cliff-drop line toward the Forgotten Tower instead, but the jump-pad route above is the cleaner way to the gate.

What waits inside the Conquered Temple

Once the beacon is cleansed and you step through, you’re inside the Conquered Temple — the snowed-in gate region in the Ruins of Mammon. Deeper in, the gate’s major boss, Droeg, the Conquerer, guards its Ova at the far end. That’s a fight for its own run; reaching and opening the gate is all this route sets out to do.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you run past the enemies on the way to Sester’s Gate?

Almost all of them, yes. The path is designed so you can skip the enemies on the stairs and cliffs without engaging. The exceptions are the ambush just past the Abbey Entrance beacon and the cluster of Sester enemies right around the Sester’s Gate beacon, where you’ll likely have to fight or carefully evade before you can cleanse it.

Where is the shell pickup near Revenant Graves?

You can grab a shell in the Revenant Graves area itself, before you cut right through the archway toward the next jump pads. It’s an optional detour on the way through — worth a quick stop if you want it, since the route passes straight by.

Is the Conquered Temple the same as the southeastern Corrupted Gate?

Not quite — the southeast Corrupted Gate is the entrance, and the Conquered Temple is the self-contained region you land in once you pass through it. The gate is what you unlock by cleansing the Sester’s Gate beacon; the temple is what’s on the other side.
