It’s that time of the year when all major manufacturers are gearing up for an imminent release of their breakthrough product of the year. Not surprisingly, we have been coming across various bits where we hear about different products passing through the FCC approval process.
It was no surprise though, that one of the most talked about smartphones of this year, the LG Optimus G would appear soon enough. And it has, and has passed through the FCC approval process. To be precise, the European version of the Optimus G, modelled LG-E974 has reportedly cleared the FCC check.
The Optimus G, a top-of-the-line handset, is a serious competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note II, another hotly awaited device across the world. The Optimus G boasts of 4.7″ True HD-IPS display with a resolution of 768 x 1280 covered with Corning Gorilla Glass, a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, 2 GB RAM, 13 Megapixel camera with 1080p video capability and a host of connectivity options.
