With iOS 26, Apple is quietly rolling out a long-requested feature—detailed call history per contact. No more relying on just a few recent call logs.
As seen in the image above and shared on Reddit, iOS 26 Developer Beta 1 now reveals an expanded log of all calls with a specific contact when you tap on their name in the Phone app. Instead of showing just a few recent entries, the list can now span months—including call durations and timestamps.

Redditor u/Ok-Yam9893 spotted the change and praised its practicality. Another user, u/Thomas9691, noted it’ll make call tracking much easier for professionals. This small tweak packs a major usability punch.
It’s a subtle change, but if you make a lot of calls—or track conversations—it’s a seriously useful upgrade. Good move, Apple.
